Uhm, I've just returned to L2 after about a 1.5 - 2 years away from it and i find myself with a million questions, so I hope someone will be kind enough to answer some of them.
I've played since C3 until about 6 months after Kamaels were released, don't remember what expansion that was. Started originally on Erica, then migrated to Bartz, and now, i'm appereantly on Chronos....
1) I heard something about all bots and botters gone..........is that true?
2) My subclass is a mid 60's destroyer, in solo grind, how viable is the Farming system?
3) I know/remember the Enchantment and Augmentation systems, but there seem to be something else now? what is that / how does that work or what does it do?
4) is the Item drop rate still insanely low? I checked on L2WH but that site seems like it hasn't been updated in a while either and it showed a lot of Common Items as drops. Do full regular items no longer drop?
5) how is the Dyno island xping these days? I remember it being extremely difficult and many group wipes
1) You will not encounter farmers like you used to in the past. I doubt they are completely extinct but for sure things are better these days.
2) Farming with a destroyer is pretty good, despite all the changes. Of course, it all comes down to what type of support you have available. The more the better.
3) Apparently you are talking about the elements. S grade gear and above can be elemented. Both weapons and armors. Weapons can receive one element of your choice, while armors can receive 3 elements per piece. Elementation process is divided in 2 stages. On weapons you can use stones (Fire Stone, Water Stone, Holy Stone, etc) until your weapon reaches 150 element (first stone takes it to 20, rest add 5 each time). On armors you can use stones until the piece reaches 60 element (each stone adds 6 element). Next stage is element crystals. Crystals can take a weapon from 150 to 300 and armor from 60 to 120.
4) L2WH is dead few years now, you won't find any type of info there. Drop rate is slightly increased but don't expect to see something dropping regularly. Regular items do drop. Fyi, you can buy almost all C-B-A grade items from NPC shops nowadays.
5) Dino island is a nuker exp area, not bad exp and quests can help a regular player fix his gear situation up to a certain point.
