Warning, this is in no way something official, it is only a suggestion:

Hello aventurer !
Bubba the cat came in the world of Aden to investigate a strange rumour, that there is a hidden code embedded into monsters that could offer some clues about the dark grim future that is coming.
It will offer adventurers a special device able to decipher that code and gather the bits and pieces to see the big picture.
After killing a monster, it will drop a piece of code. Gather 4 of these and give to the cat. The cat will then try to find the general key of the document after puting it up together, but will not be able to except very rarely if at all and ask the adventurer to do it. It will be something like this:
I have 4 pieces of the document i couldnt order correctly, A=2+3, B=5-2, C=8+4, D=9-7. Which is the correct order ?
A B C D
B C D A
D B A C
C A B D
None of the above

The rewards should be like in the tiger event, milks for the soloers, vita maintenance potions, element stones, crystals, some special buff, eventually, the code of giants wich increases your abilities by 10% or something.

I enjoyed the Tiger event. It allowed anyone to have something the end crowd wanted. Most specifically element stones. I took a three month break after that event. However that event allowed me to purchase items well ahead of my level.

So with any new event I would ask for:

So tedious that the high level people would not be arsed to do it.

Reward those that do the event with items the high level people want.

Thus adding to the economy, and helping new people reach the end game faster by giving them items to sell for adena. Allowing them to purchase gear necessary to level at a decent rate.
Someone will always get more and better rewards than you do. Stop it with the "Oh its another bot event ****" its really getting old.

So basically, farm the pieces of codes as always (can be done by bots omgomg). Then take time to get the reward. It reminds me that players don't like to have lots of clicks to pass through to get a reward when they have lots of event items to turn. I imagine that if there's question that takes 10 more seconds of thinking each time, players will love it.

Well, can be something else. The tiger event wasnt easy to script for the script kiddies but the veterans had no problem. This will be much harder to script, almost impossible without OCR if the admins do it right, players wouldnt love it but the bots will deffinitelly hate it.
The tiger event was good for the legits because it wasnt easy for bots to do it. That meant the event items (except the tiger calling scrolls) didnt flood the market, prices remained a bit normal and ppl could sell their rewards to the bots and afford some gear. Iwas also great because encouraged teamwork and strangers from different servers got to know each other after the merger. At that time Giran was full, same as Aden, things changed a lot in 6 months...

A drop only event will only make the bots richer, this is my point. If they will make it differently, great, the tigers were a huge hit for us, I managed to add the last 1 bn for CH and I am sure other ppl were thrilled. 2 weeks of hard work, but it was worth it.
A drop only event will just pass like any event, nobody will notice it, but the tiger event gave us some hope as well as some bot bans that occured then, too bad they didnt continue on the same path :( The game would have been saved already by now.

So if a event like that comes u will QQ cos "bots" selling tons of dropped event items.

If a event, then with live gm's (think about that porting and limited time to kill event mobs).
In principle agree with Mao.
If we would have event with easy access to items but then getting reward would require real human interaction that would be not only bot free but at least would be in some way challenging.

Maybe that way we could have anything different than just simple kill-kill-kill-(...)-kill-kill event or event based on chance 1/1000000000000000000

People who has brain and want use it should have some fun from doing it :)

Behind every bot there's a human player who can interact and deliver his q items :)

I want event like tigers( if possible exactly same event),i want the rewards to be good for everyone who participates(not like the stupid anakim event where we good worthless scrolls and 1 stone while some guys made a fortune with anakims) and i want to fast click when deliver q items.
This is going nowhere. You want to punish the real players because there are bots. You want to make it a pain for real players to forbid bots. And worse, in such an event, bots would still do better.
I can't follow you on this bad design.

Wish granted :D
In a Tiger like event, it could be something very simple to stop bots but not hinder real players. Something that replicated real players behaviour when they suspected a bot in their party.

Then, real players that devoted 1-2 hours / day to do the event, would discover one bot by stop taking target and hitting. Then, all real players would all react and talk in party chat. The one's that would not react and type something in party chat were the bots and were kicked out.

Something similar could be achieved with game mechanics, something very simple like ..

1) Pig randomly spawns (instead of rabit / tiger)
2) Any REAL player can see that. (it was a rule of changing summoner)
3) The pig asks a simple question like 2+2=? a random party member
4) The player is required to write the answer to party chat
5) If the answer is not written in party chat in a timely fashion by the party member asked (120 seconds are more than enough considering the randomness of person asked / pig spawn rate to cover true AFK from real people), then the party member should get automatically expelled from party
6) Some penalties for auto-expel from party failing to answer 2+2 could include

a) inability to get invited in any party for some time (lets say 15 minutes)
b) inability to spawn bunnies / use event items for some time (lets say 15 minutes)
c) inability to get event rewards for some time (lets say 15 minutes)

The tiger event was good for almost all casuals that played it 1-2 hours / day every day. The bad thing was the bots (it took some time to figure out that half of the party was AFK and expel) and the ability to summon hundrends of tigers anywhere without some restrictions ..

Why would someone be able to spawn 3.600 tigers in 1 hour without killing, soz, without loving some of them ?
Put in a maze like 79 Epic Part 4 with a 4 minute timer on it, and a top top S84 weapon at the end for anyone who can run it in that 4 minutes or less :D .

If you left this up as a permanent feature for weapons and armor, the game would be way more interesting for gamers, and would equalize gear with the salemen who never leave town.
