Well depends, if they added a option were one can hide ones equipment from the public I think it would be a very nice idea, I very much enjoyed it when I was testing Aion when it came out.
About halfway down the page you can see that the character information can be set to public, secret, only open to clan members etc.
Another nice feature of the Character Homepage is that you will be able to check your Inventory and Warehouse via the internet, you don't have to be logged into the game. If memory doesn't deceive me, something like this has been requested on these forums before.

We did have l2wh for that, but it died a long time ago :(
It may be a little controversial in L2 but let's be honest... with the widespread use or zRanger everyone who really wants and needs the information about someone will get it.
No idea if this software shows also augments on weapons (and that may be the clou of the whole equipment) but the rest? No secret since ages...
Yep, I like it too. But I hope we will be able to hide our equipment.
You cant hide it even now and before.. We cant check your WH or inventory, but any gear you wear - all is visible. Item name, enchant, and SA. But we cant see attribute though. Also your class and pet lvl is not a secret too. And you can know a char lvl while being in party. As i know - thats all info you can get in game at the moment.
