Hello all,
I remember reading this somewere but I cant find were hope you can help me.
My main is DN atm and I have a subclass Gladiator, as both will evolve in to Tyr warrior the Gladiator sub is pretty useless. Somewere i read that I will be able to change the gladiator sub to what I want? true?
I have the same Problem Dc 85 pp 80,and I wish to mantain Dc as main but what happen with sub pp80, can I change inmediatly into other class or must I wait to arrived to 85?.Or is the main that I must to change to solve this conflict?.
you can use the sub change certificate to change the pp sub to another class, this can b done before & after you awaken your main to Enchanter but needs to be done before you unlock 1 of you subs..
Would like official confirmation or clarification that Draecke is correct please.
From NCsoft offical translathion of patch notes
"Class Change Certificates" equal to the number of subclasses generated at the time of the update will be issued to each player. Unlike Subclass Reset, a "Class Change Certificate" allows a player to change class while maintaining the current level. The basic rules are the same as Subclass Reset.
All skills are deleted and the player learns the skills of the new class.
??? and can Kamael change all subs to any other non-kamael subs then ?
No, but as the new subclass skills are generic and not dependable on the type of actual sub it's irrelevant what sub you have as long as it's lvl80 for max amount of subclass skills
The new additional sub skills are 80 skills on top of existing skills I believe. so even tho they seem generic 3 additional skills do add up. so less pick the ones I like, all 3 subs 80:
+30 attack speed/casting speed, +45 mdef +45pdef, or+600cp 300hp 150mp. And both main class and subclass can receive the effects of subclass certified skills.
Sub - P. Atk. / M. Atk. increase Increases P. Atk. by 5 and M. Atk. by 10.
Sub - P. Def. / M. Def. increase Increases P. Def. by 15 and M. Def. by 15.
Sub - Atk. Spd. / Casting Spd. increase Increases Atk. Spd. and Casting Spd. by 10.
Sub - Critical Rate increase Increases P. Critical Rate and M. Critical Rate by 1.
Sub - Critical Damage increase Increases physical and magical critical damage by 10.
Sub - Physical Attribute Resistance increase Increases resistance to physical attributes by 5.
Sub - Mental Attribute Resistance increase Increases resistance to mental attributes by 5.
Sub - Physical Ability increase Increases Max CP by 200, Max HP by 100, and Max MP by 50.
Sub - MP Cost / reuse Time decrease Decreases the MP cost and reuse time of skills by 1%.
so we can have all current 3 classes to any other , or only if them subs are lv 80 ? or just 1 without having to be lv 80 .
I didnt get the msg yet >_<
You can choose and learn the skill you only want to learn. Same skill can be learned over and over again for higher lvl and effectiveness.
Can you give an example of an high lvl learned subclass skill aka how much in total does it add ? or if not is this something you were able to test on your PTS as if so np we'll test it ourselves in due time :)
For example: attack/cast speed sub skill adds +10 at lvl1 so what does it add on lvl6, +60 ? if that's an absolute it's not really worth getting but if that goes up much more then just 60 well that might change things a lot ?
pardon me if i'm slow but I haven't been keeping up with god stuff and No I haven't read all the notes. So there will be additional sub skills on top of all the ones we already have? and you must be level 80 on the subs to get them?
and if so I have some more leveling to do :x
also the clarity/reuse looks good but 1% isn't very much imo :/

If the translated notes are correct, we'll lose all the old subclass skills as they get replaced by the new ones (the same set regardless of subs).
That is, no more individuality is allowed in GoD, everyone must be the same!
so it's worthwhile to level all subs to 80 now?Definitely!!!! :D
Is it because of this?
Addition of a new class changing option in the Character Info window (Alt+T) instead of allowing subclass change through an NPC. Players can change their subclass freely in all areas except certain areas.
I have a question about the item to change your main..
Does this mean the item lets you change your class before you have awakened or only for the class after awakening.
Like I lvl my SWS to 85 now can I change it to a 85 Tyrant or Sorc with the item or can I only choose the 86+ awakened class?
AFAIK, the Stone of Destiny will only change the result of the Awakening Quest.
You are a SWS, level 85. You do the Awakening Quest, you will get the Quest Item When you speak to the Giants, you could speak only to the Iss Enchanter one without the Stone of Destiny. With it, you could speak with anyone to awaken to any class
But if you awaken on your SWS -> Iss Enchanter the "Stone of Destiny" will be consumed as far as i understand.
Then you cant awaken for example ur Tyr sub to Summoner (cos for that you would need the Stone).
Means we must know what main/sub should awake to our desired class before we awaken.
But if i remember right i saw that we can also change our sub to another subclass. Guess its not even close to that compliated as i think right now ^^
Teach me if i am wrong
So, if I read all of this correctly. The moral of the story is... atm, all that really matter is what race your character has? Cause you could change just about everything when the class does awaken?
Maybe the old sub skills would be too powerful on awakened chars?
Stuff like Warrior haste etc.Or maybe it's because the dual class sub-skills would be also shared back to the dual class, and that means for example a tank with a tank sub-skill which is currently not possible.
So, if I read all of this correctly. The moral of the story is... atm, all that really matter is what race your character has? Cause you could change just about everything when the class does awaken?Indeed, but the ability to awaken your main class to any of 8 classes is only possible for characters that are lvl 76+ before GoD.
After GoD launch you will only be able to awaken main to the standard designated 4th class.
So if you want i.e. an Orc Archer as main, be ready to have 76+ orc before GoD.
It will still be possible to make an Orc Archer after GoD launch but only as dual class through sub awakening, and for kamaels it will be even worse since they have very strict subclass restrictions and you won't be able to make Kamael Tank, Healer, Summoner or Dagger at all.
Yes, but with every update, leveling gets easier and easier. And one of the selling points on the preview site is that it will be faster to join the "end game". So, doesn't hurt to have a few "race" options open.
