Sace can you give one reason to play on the NCSoftNA servers?
The GoD is live on Korea and we don't have PTS or a lunch date, this don't make any sense,
the client crash on GC and no fix, and have some stupid bugs,
the client/server broadcast sensitive data for game play that is exploit by some programs, ex player target (pvp auto target)
NCSOFT fee is higher then some websites, (easily find for less 22$ for 2 mouths),
and more, and more, and more, and more, and more,
so i have 2 questions,
1 - give one good reason to play on the NCSoftNA servers?
2 - NCSoftNA want close lineage2 servers like lineage?
this give a nice image to players, and if you don't have Release Dates, you can bring new players because the info cant be found anywhere, i tell this because in the top Google search for Game Reviews we cant find any fresh lineage2 releases/news/updates,
make Release Date, and publish it on the bigger gamer websites, if you cant have the game full translated apology, but keep the schedule, and lunch the PTS,
ncsoft need start fix this kind of attitude, the number of players show the outcome,
players who love the game don't stop play but move elsewhere or RU server
1. It is fun to play on the NCSoftNA servers.
2. Enjoy while you can... all servers shut down sooner or later.
3. There has always been a delay in the release of new updates to do the conversion to English
4. They are working on the exploits.
5. Did I mention it is fun to play on the NCSoftNA servers?
6. NCNA has made great efforts to show their dedication to this community.
7. Korea has the main population and development team, the game will always reflect their needs for the most part first.
8. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, until you move over there.
9. Most crashes are do to your system and the programs you have installed.
10. This is not the first update we have had in the past several years and each time Korea gets it first and we get it a few months later.
Sorry my tolerance for this kind of whining is very low today.
I'm disappointed with NCSoft, i m expecting much more,
i don't go comment more because i come from elsewhere, and have a lot of experience in mmo,
wen i have the money to pay i decide try some mmo (blizzard,Trion Worlds,Perfect World, and more company games), but i love lineage so i end here,

and i don't now if i go extend my subscription, but don't go stop play l2.

If playing this game is not fun for you, you're free to leave.
This post points on some true things,after so many years there's no other game that could take down L2 from his throne,but most players didnt have the chance to play the game like Korean did and one by one still keep leaving,if only Ncwest could do more.(in my mind,i cant say that they sabotage in purpose their own buisness product,so the explanation i can give is,in all the issues they failed because of the buisness agreement they made when they bought the franchise?)

I am not sure if they actually "bought" the franchise since NC Interactive is fully owned by NCK (and why wouldnt be so since they make huge losses in the richest market in the world and nobody would invest in such a "business"), the russians bought it, and they have for sure a more restrictive agreement, i dont think they can afford to leak the files, for instance.
The real problem it's the idea that the game is here because bots help it exist, they help the market, serve some functions in game, etc. The only function that they serve in my view is to keep "noobs" away from official servers and to bring a bad name to NCK. Since NCNA will never abandon the support for the cheaters and wont stop prosecuting the legits, things wont change, and I am 99% sure they want l2 dead sooner rather than later.

Even the "community" strives to keep players away from the game, and it is nothing unexpected, this is the "community" they want and encourage, so much so that I can say they deserve it. Ppl of a kind stick together.

Actually, I said before, this is the most harsh environment in which a legit community can be created and sustained from all the games I tried so far. This brings an unprecedented challenge and if I can make it here, then it can be done everywhere.
If it is impossible, then I take the task, this is fun, if it is doable by many ppl, then it is boring. For a couple of years now, ppl try to prove full legit is impossible, you need to make some compromise to survive, bots are needed, you have to cooperate with them, blah-blah, as long as there is one counter-example, then they didnt manage to prove it yet.

if you look at other mmorgs official forums ... if someone starts a negativ threat about that mmorg, you get ~10+ fanbois who defend the game no matter how bad it realy is ^^.
At the very last NC has accomplished to have no fanbois at all ... cant say i didnt like that ^^

I still play the game a lot cos of all the friends i made over the years. It's like a lil family. I log in, blabla a lil xp/pvp a bit and log off.
By just looking at the bad things of the game (like some do, also me from time to time), its better for ppl to leave if they cant find fun.
At all i must be that honest to say that w/o all the nice ppl i met over the years i wouldnt be there anymore.

i tought that was clear enough... ok never said that they were the same, just point two items (4 and 9) since we always had and probably will have both cheaters, and crash caused by client itself.
Since the OP mentioned he pays to play, I'll chime in.
We pay a TRIVIAL amount to play.
Given my monthly play time, I pay about .50 cents an hour (or less) to play and I enjoy myself while I do. What else can you do for .50 cents an hour? Go to a movie? Take a date to a restaurant? Go to a club? Drink beer at a pub? Drive your car in the country?
Heck, if I want to take a hot young lady out for a nice dinner, drinks and dancing I can easily spend as much as I do in a year of L2 (if not more). And what do I get at the end of the evening? Usually just a slap in the face!
I think our monetary deal with L2 is the bargin of the century. Personally, I think that NCSoft should raise the price. But wait, L2 has been out 7+ years and they have NEVER RAISED THE PRICE. Food has gone up, beer has gone up, gas has gone up, rent has gone up, movies have gone up....but L2 has not.
