A few questions

General Discussion Started Last reply 16 posts
1 - Will be possible for any class to awaken as any of the 8 new classes?
As a Eva's Saint can I awaken as a Knight, nuker or Archer?

2 - How will be the craft system? Any class will be able to craft like WoW and Aion?

3 - Is really an advantage to hit 85 prior of the GoD release?
1. Providing you ding level 76 prior GoD, yes.

2. I guess so, but I've only read the patch notes. Actually, only dwarves. Read my post further in this very topic.

3. See answer 1... Also, you will be able to taste the new stuff earlier...

Someone who had played on the Korean Live GoD could clarify things a little further...
Thanks.

I am lvl 81 + 70%. So looks like I will be able to change to any one of the new classes but only when I hit 85.
Here is it (from this page (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?p=3072876#post3072876)):

When a third class character reaches level 85, the ancient Giant King Hermuncus sends a message directly to the mind of the hero in the Material Plane, who can release him from his seal. The character can check the message on the dialog window.

The character who has the "Pact of Righteous Path" item can Awaken at the ancient Giant statue located in the "Reliquary of the Giants":
You can obtain the "Pact of Righteous Path" item by completing the "Seize Your Destiny" quest.
The Reliquary of the Giants, where the ancient Giant statues are located, can be reached freely through Gatekeeper Rachel in Talking Island Village.

When a character Awakens, all previously learned skills are replaced by new skills. The character receives SP and a certain quantity of Essence of the Giants according to the level of skill enchantement.

A character that received the power of the ancient Giant heroes Awakens, and obtains a chest that contains their powers:
Five 100,000,000 SP scrolls
A class-specific cloak
Two weapon attribute change crystals (S-Grade)
Five Elixirs of Blessing.

A main class that completes Awakening can start to use a new means of transport, "Jump." However, characters in a chaotic state cannot use Jump.

The update issues all characters who are level 76 or above with a single "Stone of Destiny." A character that has both "Stone of Destiny" and "Pact of Righteous Path" can Awaken into a different class.
E.g.: A Maestro normally Awakens as a Tyrr Warrior, but with both "Stone of Destiny" and "Pact of Righteous Path" it is possible to Awaken as a Sigel Knight, Othell Rogue, Yul Archer, Feoh Wizard, Iss Enchanter, Wynn Summoner or Aeore Healer.
The "Stone of Destiny" disappears even if you Awaken as your designated class.
The "Stone of Destiny" will only be granted once at the time of the update.
I have another question: How will be the visual of the character with the new classes?
Is is a completely new one?

I've not seen many pics but afaik the visual on Lineage 2 only changes when you change your armor, meaning that doesn't matter if you are awake or not, if just matter which set are you using.

For that, just google the sets name and you might get some graphics for them...

So if a dorf awaken as a Tyr Warrior the character visual will be like a dorf?
The same idea as all the other profession.

BTW thanks for you fast responses.

Yes, at least that's what I've seen and such... For most accurate details, just google "lineage 2 <insert awaken class here>" and you shall see...

Also, I answer fast because I'm bored at work... also dying in this cold air conditioner here...But, you are welcome, lady. :)
Sorry, but I was wrong about the craft. Here is it:

Craft System
Dwarfs can craft items of R-Grade or higher, regardless of their class.
Level 85+ characters who have completed their fourth class transfer automatically acquire the following skills:
Dwarfs: Create Item Skill Level 11.
All races: Create Common Item Skill Level 10.
All races can craft R-Grade belts, shirts, bracelets and elixirs.
Only Dwarfs can craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots.
Addition of recipes to allow other players to craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots with normal crafting skill. There is a low chance of obtaining recipes from the Adventurers' Guildsmen that appear in certain instanced dungeons by using Seals of Loyalty, Pledge, Sincerity or Spirit.
Conventional materials cannot be used to craft items of R-Grade or higher.
Players acquire "Unidentified" items by crafting weapons, armor or accessories of R-Grade or higher, and there is also a low chance of obtaining "Standard" or "Blessed" items.
The following materials required for crafting items of R-Grade or higher can be purchased from grocers in each village:
Crafting Solvent
Dualsword Craft Stamp - R-Grade.

So, yes, only Dwarves will be able to craft, only they would have Craft Item level 11
The other races can craft belts, shirts, bracelets and elixirs only, along with common craft items and, with those new recipes, Soulshots ans spiritshots that aren't R-Grade.
Well, I have another question. How will work the sub-class skills to the main class?
in GoD that service will prolly be stopped or at least awaken classes can no longer use it.

try pm destructor on this forum and ask him if he knows more as he's from korea and plays there..

btw due to the upcoming changes a friend of mine changed from 85 100% Human Female Heirophanty to Dwarfish Female Fortune Seeker with the main/sub change service as she wanted to be cute like that and will unlock her Heirophant subclass to awaken that with as race dwarf in GoD.. with the 2x XP events we managed to power level her back to 85 on the Dwarf :)
Do I need this **** on cardinal?
I guess I found the response for this:
"All acquired subclass certified skills have been reset. All certificates players had have also been deleted"

You will learn new sub skills. Totally new ones.

No more divine transform. It will also be deleted.

You will get subskill scrolls for 65,70,75 and 80.
You can learn total of 12 new subskills of lvl 1, or learn specific sub skills up to whatever you desire.;)

Choose and learn subskills based on your desire or characteristics of your toon.
No more divine transform. It will also be deleted.

Thank you for confirming this. I thought since they were transformations, they might remain.

I think it's sad that they will be gone. I have a divine healer transformation that I love and worked really hard for :(
