[edit] there is a dead character in the wastelands of the ant nest. I edited my message because when I checked again he was gone, but now he's there again. I think that the player logs off and in again but his character is stuck there...Is that a bug or something?(i know nothing about bugs that's why I'm asking >.<)
He's in the middle of nowhere and his name is not that of a bot...Also he's a player from his looks...I think.I mean...bots don't look like player characters...do they?
As already mentioned it might be a spy for a raid boss nearby or for Ant queen. It might also just be a spy to check if a certain spot is free. I am thinking we all have spots of preference when it comes to leveling academy alts.
The other day I was able to trade a SOR with a dead character who needed to be resurrected. He gave me the scroll being dead.

Can players target dead players? I know they can't target dead pets that don't belong to them, but I can't remember if you can target a dead player...(I'm back from a 4-5 years break...). Anyway that player/spy/whatever i couldn't target. And when I talked to him he wouldn't answer...i guess that makes him more suspicious....or lagged...who knows....XD
One may target any dead PC or PC Pet by holding the Shift key. This will make your mouse select creatures by their names instead of their models thus making possible for you to target dead models that can be ressurected. I guess it also works for spoiled corpses that weren't sweepered yet, but I'm not sure. May try at home tho...
you can target dead pets with /target Improved Baby Kookaburra or w/e they are called, or /target the specific pets' name if it has one. but holding shift is easier.
