[Naia] Best time for GM buffs?

Hi folks,

As you know, we've been giving players GM buffs and vitality refills when we are able to come online during double XP events. Because the player-base for both servers is world-wide, and players are logging in from different timezones, it is difficult for us to accommodate all players' play schedules according to the GMs' North American schedules.

So, we'd like to know what time works best for you! :) Please take the poll and we'll do our best to meet the needs of the masses.

Instructions:

The Naia server is located in Germany, and the time-frames listed in this poll are in the German timezone. Here is how to calculate what time-frame to choose:


Decide what time of day (in your own timezone) you would be able to make the most of GM buffs and a vitality refill.
Visit this website (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html).

Under "Select time and place to convert from:" Enter the time of day that would be optimal for your to receive buffs. (Leave today at today's date.)
Enter your location in the world.
Under "Select place to convert to:" Choose Germany - Berlin - Berlin.
Press 'Convert time.'
A new page will load and will show you the equivalent time in the Berlin timezone.


Your answer in this poll must match the Berlin time that you just calculate.

For example: if you are in the London timezone and you choose 8pm, and you convert it to Germany - Berlin time, you will see 9pm. Choose the 9pm timeframe in this poll.

4 AM EDT or 10 AM Germany time. I just get off work, third-shifter :P

That is for during the week. Does not seem to be the most popular.

For the weekends. Any time is a good time for GM buffs. I will make sure and be awake :P

But for the sake of the poll. 4 PM EDT or 9 PM Germany time sounds good.

Any sort of schedule will allow the players to schedule their play around the buffs. Might cause spikes in server activity.

Most likely players will log into to play and burn down any restored vit. Get GM buffs and vit and then play to burn that down. Log out.

yeah when i work i get back home at 6 am but last time i came home to late and vit was alrdy being passed out from what i heard

i think i am speaking for most people in germany when i say 6 to 9 pm would be the best for german people unlike they got evening shift work

but majority of us german works morning and night shifts

I think buffs around midnights is best.We have finished with raids/xp and almost all are still online to get them.

One more time around 6 in evening would be nice for the ones that log earlier and leave earlier.

Yeah the running into steel citadel is starting to get really old and boring...
High time to make that ground a lil more accesible!

Like kill Darion and gain a free access to the teleporter before u can go to the upper floors or so.

Well you don't really need GM buffs if you are in cita2, all you need is vit. And getting back to cita2 is like 10 min max if ppl don't slack.

id still say try and fix a simple npc that hands out gm buffs/vit and then it has 4hour cool down. so people can go for gm buffs when ever they feel like it.

Even a 12 hour cool-down would be slick.

Have full vit twice a day.

50% bonus once a day.

Occasional hunting bonus(equal to level 4 vit + vit replenishment).

Could veritably live on L2.

Midnight = means people that "DO" work would be left in the dark while all the workless sing kumba ya my lord at the band camp near FI // bad idea

Voting for 9pm - 12 am. Might be a bit late for some of us that work but ..

Other time slot a bit to early .. Whats the point of refilling vit when you haven't fully exhausted the 2x previous one ? Also, I think that EU Prime time does fit better with that timeslot.

Buffing a bit earler is a problem, some people will miss it. Buffing a bit later is not always a problem.We get the full Vit and logout with the buffs to use next day.

who knows cos according to u gmt isnt gmt ^^
