As I have been reading around, all players lvl 76+ get a destiny stone when the update ocurs, but, what I have not yet read, or find, even less understand is this:
Which are the restrictions to this class change (like subclasing restrictions)? for example, if I am a DE fighter, can I class change into Sws?
Going on into this example, If I change into an Sws, do I keep DE fighter stats, or My basic stats are the ones of an Elf?
Where I can find a good information source about this, and GD in general, because, in this fourms, beaside there are good information, there are a LOT of throlls out there!

Ok first of here is how the normal way works...
If you are lets say a dark elf Bladedancer and turn to level 85 you can then do your awakening quest and get an item that let you talk to the all mighty statue for enchanters.
And when you talk to the statue you turn in to an enchanter.
The Destiny stone you get is used at level 85 when you talk to the statues, what the stone actually does is let you talk to any statue you like.
So you can turn in to any of the new classes.
IF you turn in to a new class you will keep you appearance as a dark elf BUT all your stats will turn in to the corresponding class of the human race.
1st: The Awakening is your 4th Class Transfer. You can only awake to one of the 8 New classes, depending on what is your 3rd class. The 8 Classes are: Knight, Enchanter, Wizard, Archer, Rogue, Healer, Summoner and Warrior. All 3rd classes in Lineage 2 have one of these archtypes.
2nd: All Characters that are level 76+ when GoD goes Live will receive a "Stone of Destiny". With this item, when you finish your quest and finally Awake, you get to choose which of the 8 classes you want to become. If you don't have this item, you can only Awake to the class which represent your archtype (Daggers becomes Rogues, Archers become... well Archers, and so on). Even if you choose to awake to you archtype, the "Stone of Destiny" will be removed from your inventory. It's a Quest Item, thus it's bound to the toon that recieves it.
Now, DE fighters have 4 archtypes: SK becomes Knight, BD becomes Enchanter, GH becomes Rogue and PR becomes Archer, if you don't use your "Stone of Destiny" to become anything else.
From your example I suppose you are talking about the chance to change your subclasses. We'll be able to change each of our subclasses one time. This is because, apart from the old restrictions, a new one is added: One can't subclass to a class that's the same archtype of any other of one classes.
This means that Hawkeyes can't Subclass to PRs anymore. Cardinals can't subclass to SE and so on...
You DE still can't subclass to SwS, mainly because DE's can't subclass to LE's Classes.
When you subclass, your stats are changed to match the class your choose. A human fighter that subclasses DC will have Orc Mystic's stats while he's playing the DC class.
Now, if you Awake to some class that isn't your archtype, your stats falls into the choosen class defaults.
Someone posted this table with the defaults here on the forums (I've read this today) but I can't seem to find it. Once I do I will post here.
Thank you very much for the answers. Clear as water now.
I got confused reading from here and there and I made a whole movie on my head as how this stone was supposed to work!
Thanks again!.
Guess I should start my sws now!, as I'm having trouble finding party with my SK, and love LE and sws!
