Naia server hardware just cannot handle anything. 2x EXP event was laggy like hell on top hours while server status was on 'light'.
And if it's because any top-clan is crashing server, why does NCWest don't fix cheat usage like they did on L2Ru.
Don't stress about it. When the server crash during TW, the TW are automaticallyt extended. Once the TW finished at 20h10 instead of 20h because of Crash :)

Scripts react much more quickly than people. Let's try you target a Party cardinal. We all know all people will target and attack you at the same time, I'm not sure humans could be as fast as programs, and could send so many signals :P
Probably Sace's phone just got a text message saying 'Naia crash 21:30 +1GMT lol again'. Then go into restart progress. Log GM char; tell server 'TW will be extended with 15min, sorry for problems, kthnxbb'.

It's possible I heard from Russian friends that on L2Ru they succesfully blocked cheats. But just because L2Ru got their own dev team.

Because NCsoft don't care about EU server. Just see how they handle GM-Buff/Revita times during double exp events. They come in EU nights, while US players receive same buffs early and late evening while people actually play.

Don't be offtopic. Most of buffs were before, and after Olympiads. I think it's great for EU players, even if it's not perfect. I think we should thank them for coming as soon as they wake up from their home, with a crappy VPN tunnel so they lag like hell, to buff us

So the country that brought us the cheats also have the solution. If it's that simple, and we got that useless protection program called Gameguard (lol it still thinks Windows Media Center is a bad program trying to **** your L2 account). Why Gameguard don't scan for it. Give it a purpose.

Remember the first double exp event? Back then all Gatekeepers in all towns buffed and gave vitality points every 4hrs. If you needed them you just could sit in 900 range or so and receive vitality over night. It was purly scripted, no GM logon or whatever. Also less lag generation then letting 2000 accounts port to Fantasy Isle.

It was GM coming to each town. I remember Cryo spawning strange Npc in Aden who tp you somewhere in the air of Aden gates :D
We got warning 1 hour left, then in 3 min that was cut to 30 min...
Well, almost did it, 7th round did 4 out of 5 quests and had time to lgin back mains, but normally 7th round should have been complete we were on time.

I think also, we have light population and our sieges lag more than much more crowded sieges in other servers where cheating is not allowed.
While this could be because poor server hardware, with the prices for HW of today that is highly unlikely also BW limitations on the server side dont make sense at the price BW is going today.
So, overall, 3rd party programs should be the cause, I cant imagine NC is saving a couple of hundred bucks a month to have a lousy connectivity or has 10 yo servers that COULD have problems with Naia population, that would be insanity, not incompetence...

Well, I routinelly get more than 400, but, of course, not on same char...
I didnt collect this time, and I didnt do a statistic on how the wards reset influence badges collected but i didnt notice anything unusual (god knows we had enough crashes to see it if it was a serious difference).

It's sad to say that if they stop cheats, we will loose the payment of 60% of the l2 population and l2 will crash like l1 :`p
L2 will crash anyway because bots themselves are annoyed as the other side is cheating too. The only solution is to stop cheating, but so far it isnt well understood in NC quarters. They still believe even now when 90% of ppl already left, that the cheaters do pay their wages and keep the game alive. The cheaters themselves are convinced of that, hence the shameless ways they act in requesting bans for legits, they know NC wont ban them, but the ppl that rock the boat.
If nobody sees the elephant in the room, that we had many ppl and many servers and now we have 2 that will soon be merged, while in other parts l2 and even l1 are doing if not fantastically, at least well, the only real difference is that there botting isnt allowed, neither in PvP nor in PvE, it is obvious the NA model doesnt work, you cant have a real community made up of cheaters, and no matter how good the game is, will still fail in these conditions.
I will get more infraction points and more bans, even in the game as i was threatened, but that wont change the facts, wont push the closure date further, on the contrary, so, in the end, who will win ? Do the cheaters want the closure of the game ? Does NCNA want ? Then ?
Are we really thinking like before that new expansions will bring more ppl, that ppl will stop cheating if they receive warnings instead of bans,that unbaning the few cheaters we banned will save the game, that legits will stop their exodus because bots will have more means to grief them in so called wars, are we really that insane ???
