I tried to level at aligator island but it is not worth the time because it takes me a while to kill one and they do alot of damage to me. (I am well equipped)
does anyone here know a good-fast place for me to level to 40?
The map hunter thing shows you ALL locations that are possible for your level. If you try them all you can find what fits you better. Nobody will tell you anything that is not listed there. There are no secret locations.
Why you come to a game and first what you do is spaming forum with numerous threads. Will you ask for exp places up until you're 85?
Try to find a clan and they will help you with exp locations.
Instead of wasting my time looking at the map for locations which might be worse than the previous one I come to the forums and ask for help to the veterans that know all the good locations. Since when is asking for help = Spamming the forums?
ok.. for me.. the OP say "I am well equipped" to me means I have out of party support/clan gave me good gear.
At your leveling rate - again assuming OOP buffers - go for red/pink mobs.
You never said what class you are - that make a huge difference in leveling areas. For me with a pole users - Ants nest 35 to 40, then alligator island to 50, then EV, then torn between three spots.
omg how can you suggest Outlaw forest, that place is so bad. I get like 0.10% per mob in there, will take me days to get to 52 in there. PLs dont suggest bot locations I don't bot.

Bot Locations?
I'm legit and grinded there from 52 to 58... about 2 hours in normal XP weeks or 1 hour on double XP weeks per level with my AW. Mobs are weak to Physical Meelee Range Attacks and die way fast, that's how you make a 0.10% per mob location into a grind spot. Ever heard of Stabs or Strikes?
No sir, I don't bot and I haven't seen any bots there in the times I was grinding there.

1. Does not talk.
2. Picks up the gold I don't pick up.
3. Goes around in a large circle killing monster.
4. Once I attacked it, it stopped moving and it let me killed it.
So yeah, I am ****** off that there was a bot in that location, and I didn't mean to call you a botter, you put the words in my mouth.

the problem is that you attack nearly everyone when they give you some ideas. Outlaw forest is a great place if you can get a spot.
For you 1-4
1 - Could be language issue
2 - could be alt and the adena (not gold btw) that is dropped is not worth the time to pick up.
3 - most everyone does large circles in a area they are hunting.
4 - the person could be letting you have the mob.
granted it sounds like a bot but there are other tests that players use, perhaps you did not state them.
Maximilious, the situation you described can happen with live player as well. Some don't like to talk or don't understand what you tell them, some don't let free adena lay on the ground if you don't pick it up, some people like to run in big circles and it usually the sign of no bot, and if you attack a mob maybe a person doesn't want to get into trouble and just let the bully like you have it.
Now to suggestions for leveling. Reread this thread, whatever people offer you don't like, you complain about bad exp all the time. I told you twice already, if you don't like to go where you are told to go, check all locations of your level and pick one that you like more.
Also exp per mob is nothing. You should measure exp per hour. Some mobs can give you very high exp, but the time you need to kill them will be big. Some give very little exp but you can kill a dozen or more in a minute. Try to measure exp per 10 min at least and compare locations then.
50-59/60: EV center (upper level) on elders. Or go pole in apostate/witch cata, if you can find several bigger rooms and have decent buffs from someone (often crowded). Then maybe around devastated castle a bit (doom knights etc., group mobs) and then outside Goddard on the antilopes/buffalo/banders. They are very easy and give decent xp over time, because you kill so many. Can stay there until 73/74, maybe mixed with a bit of wall of argos (antilopes, bandersnatches near shrine of loyalty). Then go silent valley and stay there until 76 - from then on, try for random GC parties (you will not get xp penalty anymore from 76 on, even with lvl 85 people in party, and party xp in GC >> solo xp).
I'll be the one to state the obvious. You do realise exp gets harder? your saying your getting less exp then u were at alligator island when you were 40. Ofc you are. When your 79 u will wish you were getting .1% per mob. If u want high exp per mob, go to a catacomb, the area suggested is a popular exp spot for that level.
