currently dwarves harvest and craft, from what i gather.
how will this change in GoD. ive been reading the forums and there appears to be quite a bit of confusion as to what's actually going to occur with GoD.
for instance as a dwarf will i have to become a healer?
what happens to the bounty hunter levels and abilities i will have gained?
sorry if this is a repeat, but i have been reading the forums, just can't find a definitive/official answer.
Hello there mate, Welcome to Lineage 2 Game and Boards.
Dwarves are the race of money, so to speak. They gather and craft and they will still do that after GoD comes live.
GoD brings the 4th Class Change called Awakening.
Upon Awakening, your toon will lose skills while it gains Racial Skills.
Dwarves may Awake as Tyr Warriors (if WarSmiths) or Othel Rogues (if Fortune Seekers), by definition.
In both cases, Dwarves gain a Craft Item Level 11 Skill, enabling him to craft R-Grade itens. The Othel Rogue gains a Plunder skill, which is like Spoil+Sweep in one skill.
Now, the talk about Dwarven Healers began with one simple item: The Stone of Destiny.
This item, given to all toons above level 76 on the time GoD goes Live, allows the main class of said toon to Awake to another class.
Normally Warsmiths Awake as Tyr Warriors and Fortune Seekers Awake as Othel Rogues, but with the Stone, they can awake as anything they like, including Aeore Healer.
People are talking about the Dwarf Healer thing because there are doubts about keeping his Craft Skill or not and what kind of Stats do they earn.
So far, I believe that Dwarves that Awake as Aeore Healers have their Stats changed to Dwarf Mytics (which will only exists after GoD) and gain the Craft Skill as well. But I might be wrong, since I've seen lots of people telling all different things about this particular point.
Your former habilites will be removed after you Awake in anyway. Some are removed when you Awake, some are removed when you learn some skill and yet some aren't removed at all. But when it comes to debuffs and damage skills prior Awakening, they would prolly be render useless against anything far beyond level 85.
it seems like you're saying i can still scavenge and craft after i awake, though im not sure what the significance of Craft Item Level 11 Skill ability means, or what R level items are.
thank you for the help so far, it is actually becoming clearer, now thank you.

Yepp, Maestros won't scavenge because Tyr Warrior can't learn Plunder, but Fortune Seekers do.
Any Dwarf that Awakes learn Create Item Level 11, it's a Racial Skill, so it's bound to the race of Dwarves.
R-Grade items are items for toons level 85 and beyond.
I'm thinking you already know that items have grades on Lineage 2. To use an Item of said grade one must be at least at a certain level or he would suffer penalties.
It goes like:
No Grade: level 1
D-Grade: level 20
C-Grade: level 40
B-Grade: level 52
A-Grade: level 61
S-Grade: level 76
S80-Grade: level 80
S84-Grade: level 84 (a lot of S84-Grade items will be moved to S80-Grade on GoD)
R-Grade: level 85 (GoD Only)
R95-Grade: level 95 (GoD Only)
R99-Grade: level 99 (GoD Only)
Dwarves need a certain level of Create Item to make certain items. In order to create R-Grade and some other high level items, Dwarves need to learn Create Item Level 11 first, which they do once they awake.
thanks for all the help folks. i will avoid maestro so i dont end up w/ no scavenging skills on the character i want to gather on. and on my crafter it seems it doesn't matter, probly go Tyr Warrior with him.
if anyone has any other comments or suggestions please feel free to do so.
Just to add some bit of info for ya: You will only lose habilities if your Awakening class has a better version of said skill.
Like Bishops Prayer, that don't have a better version available on Aeroe Healer, so Aeore Healers that come from Cardinals won't lose it. ^^
That sounds interesting. So that means that as we get 7 pomaders as healers in GoD we will be able to pick all of those skills up that don't get replaced, then awaken and get a healer with more purposes?

Yepp, but from what I've been able to gather of information from the power wiki poorly translated by Google, there aren't up to 7 skills that are staying... Prayer is one I can recall for sure.
Stigma is staying too, but no one knows yet if the 100% land ratio is kept to 86+ mobs or if they are harder to land Stigma on.
The other usefull skill are getting replaced, like PR or Majors or Clarity or BoA...
I think Resist Shock and Bless the Blood are getting replaced too but not sure...
If you say what skills you are thinking I might me able to recall if they are replaced or not...
I would just see what skills would not get replaced and get the 7 most useful of them among all the healer classes. I would expect every healer to do so. :)

If you come up with a list, please do share it with us... :)
So the spoiler dwarf is gaining the ability to craft and the crafter dwarf is gaining nonthing?
Well, since new "Spoil" (called "Plunder") is an Othell Rogue skill and Maestros Awake to Tyr Warrior, yes, Crafter will remain just Crafter.
Craft, on the other side, will be a racial skill for dwarves, so Fortune Seekers that Awake to Othell Rogue will have it and will be Crafters and Spoilers.
