Both servers will be down for emergency maintenance on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 around 10am PDT / 12pm CDT / 1pm EDT / 5pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 30 minutes.
With this emergency maintenance:
The correct server time is being applied to the Naia server.
Vitality refills are being applied to both servers.
Angel Cat will appear on both servers after the maintenance with one buff potion as compensation. Angel Cat will be present to give you the one buff potion for 24 hours.

Correct. The only time that Naia's server time was wrong was beginning after today's schedule maintenance was over. So we had to bring that server down again to apply the correct server time.
The cats are being stubborn and refuse to leave their little cat beds. But we're working on it! If anyone has any cat treats handy, please toss them on the ground in towns across Aden, maybe that will coax them out.

After our regularly scheduled maintenance, we found that the server time on the European server was incorrect and that vitality was not refilled for all accounts. We brought the servers down for emergency maintenance to correct these issues. During emergency maintenance, we encountered an issue with the database that required a brief rollback to the time that the servers initially came up. For Naia, the rollback was 17 minutes from 9:43 AM to 10:00 AM PST. For Chronos the rollback was 40 minutes from 9:43 AM to 10:25 AM PST.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please find the Angel Cat NPC’s, available on both servers for the next two days, so you can receive individual buff potions that can be used at your leisure.
I only got one potion today. If you mean to say that one potion can be collected each day Angel Cat is out, please confirm this now. I was about to wait until the next day to collect both potions. Good thing I didn't.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I was going to check and make sure before i did it. I figured they may do something like this.

I remember the dark times when there was no communcation at all between NCsoft and players... no explanations about shutdowns... patch notes the day (sometimes after) they release the new Chronicle...

Looks like the NPC server crash on Chronos caused Angel Cat to return there with only one potion. We've convinced him to give out 2 potions again now. :)
(On Naia players have been receiving 2 potions, no issues there.)
Since Sace said the Chronos Angel Cat was mistakenly giving out one potion at first, then fixed to give two potions, Chronos players can theoretically get three potions.
