I hate vitality!!

Is there any way to toggle vitality off? It's annoying and doesnt help at all at lower lvls.

It makes me lvl up too fast while I wanna have the time to explore the game trying exp/spoils in different areas at each lvl.
Then pick any other korean grinder ... they are not one or two most of them are free too
Make a Q for Sin Eater

No one is forcing you to level even if you have max vitality.

You don't have to kill the Mobs and you will have all the time to explore. If you run into some Mobs that don't like you spying in their neighborhood, go ahead and let them kill you. If you don't take those newbie buffs before heading out to explore you can impede your swift ascension through the lower levels. After completing a quest attack the town guards a few times, I don’t mean verbally, and I am positive they will deter your gathering of XP.

All in all you don’t have to try very hard to stay at any given level… regardless of what NCSoft does to ease the process of accumulating XP you can out do them with little effort.

IMHO this post smells phishy

If that pet is sin eater, yeah, will work, otherwise, unlikely.

waste the vitality on group mobs...
aoe Elpies...
then once vit is gone or down low enough where you can freely level slower... you'll do fine.

w/ a baby pet out you gain less xp since your pet takes some you also have a pet to show for your effort afterwards, so you will lvl slower w/ a baby pet.
also sineater quest isnt doable until your high enough lvl that you should already have learned to play the game since you need to kill mobs in sea of spores wich is 40+ area, while baby pets or wolf pet are easy to obtain and useable right at the start.

Thanks for idea, will try soon. Need spoil many B/A stuff.

why try to waste vita... never think about killing a town guard with no weapon/armor on.... do it 10-100 time and you will no need to take care of vita....
The only time I really dislike vitality is when I want to go do quests, and I end up wasting it on low level monsters. It doesn't seem to distinguish that you're not getting experience from them. I guess it just goes by kills.
Put a high lvl char into ur party, then u should get 0 xp. Done ;)

Trolling achieved. A joke troll.

If not a troll joke... just kill anything that is "blue" to you before you choose to explore the game in regards to exp rate and/or spoil rates. Still sense a troll joke.
In terms of wasting Vit, Nev etc: EverQuest has this function to turn off adventuring XP. If there were available in L2 you could opt out of getting any XP and be sure that your Nev timer and your Vit stay as you are while you are doing something that invovles killing blue mobs or similar...

Would be nice ;)
One thread to troll them all...

Finally I see some valid reason to support OP (not that I support him, but this is indeed the first post on it's favor, troll or not)...

Don't know, you aren't spending too much time into blue mob killing when you need to... also, vitality takes longer to drop while killing low level mobs (at least it seemed to me)...

Useful? kinda maybe... Needed? I don't think so... We can live without it... as someone already stated, vit is consumed really fast on higher levels...

Yeah it's certainly not required but even for PVP runs you are bound to get some mob on you and then you run around for 45 more mins killing Wartags and find yourself with almost no Nevit time by the end of it which is always annoying me :)

I'm certain such an option won't come but I can understand that some people would like such a thing.

(Goes for fishing aswell btw, where a mob spawns sometimes that you kill which starts your Nev timer if you are not in Town)

Anyway with the entire Nevit system being removed in GoD this will not be a problem anymore anyway...

Speaking of EverQuest I also really liked their mentor system... ;) For all who don't know it: If you were a high level and a friend of yours joined the game you could walk to him and activate the mentor mode which would transform you into a lower level (equal level to him) version of yourself with skills from that appropriate level (even your equipment would be useable but with lower stats) and you could help him hunt while eating 0 of his XP because you got nothing. Things like that I would really appreciate in L2 ;)
Well, GoD itself has a mentor system... let's hope this workout well :D

I guess you started all of your toons before the vitality system got implemented, otherwise you'd have noticed how terrificly fast you can get lvl 40, if not just 60.
I do wanna lvl up, but I also wanna have all the time to explore while hunting/spoiling. I got a wolf with me, but doesnt slow me down that much at all.

I remember taking QUITE A BIT to get A grade, when I started my first toons, back in C4/5. At that time I had plenty of time to explore and decide what area was the best for my lvl/equipment/party. Now I get a lvl up just by "tasting" an area...."suiciding" each 10 mobs to keep the pace at normal lvls is not my idea of amusement =p

THIS is a good idea! Takes some time, but.... ^^

Yes, seriously =(

Have you tried starting a new toon lately? You should keep it independent from the other toons, no money transfers nor any other kind of "external help". You'll see, you're WAY too fast lvling up, especially if you plan to hoard some spoils/money before leaving each area....

I'm actually starting a new toon on Naia having no other toons there. I'm trying to build it up with no "cheating", which doesnt mean botting, but receiving help from other players that are leaving or friends dismissing old equipment. I even refused a clanny help because I want to make it "the old way"!! =p
why try to waste vita... never think about killing a town guard with no weapon/armor on.... do it 10-100 time and you will no need to take care of vita....

I have not much time to play, I dont wanna waste half of it dying.... =p

Sadly I dont know anybody that would willingly wast his/her time in a senseless party.... =(

I did... I began playing on Jun 8th 2011... Got my AW to 58 withou any outside help and I was about to gather enough money for A grade thru the Rabbit Event when, suddenly, I run out of VIT to the bottom for the first time!

Then I created a toon that I wanted for a long time but didn't had the guts to create: Bishop.

Then I fell in love with it, used none resources from my AW to level it up, but when I got to level 40 I got helped to pay for the 2nd change.

Can't play a multiplayer game by yourself, this isn't how it's meant to be played.

Dinging 61 alone isn't supposed to be enough for you to afford A Grade.

But I know the leveling process is fast for lower levels... Fear not, get your self up to the 70s and things will slow way down... I won't even mention the 80s... :D

I might've put it in a wrong way, but I'm serious, I wanna lvl up at a slower pace. I remember spending quite some time in each area since the lowest lvls, having time to try different areas for each lvl range to find the right one for me.

Now I got almost lvl 20 in about 2 hours, and just because I had to repeat the wolf test 2-3 times and carried out all the newbie quests despite mobs got blue even before I was halfway the quest items. =(

Lvl 1 to second class change could be achieved in....an afternoon.

I wanna have the time to explore and try areas BEFORE mobs get blue. When, being a spoiler, am I going to collect decent amounts of low lvl basic materials, if I outlvl each area in no time?

My opionion is that vitality before lvl 61 doesnt help newbies to grow fond of the game's "flavour".

And makes me lose sight of the game's spirit, now it all looks like a crazy race to the highest lvl to be able to PvP. Where's the fun, then? =p

Anyway this is a "general discussion", not a "game suggestion", so dont get a fright, people!

The problem is spoiling!!! If I outlvl the area before I get enough low lvl mats, what am I going to do? =(

Try finding a friend on your level, or other people and just ask them if you can spoil their mobs...

you won't get any experience but you will spoil their mobs...

Don't know if this works, just a thought...

Odd....I thought only people that play L2 just like me can post on this forum.....
