Regarding trial account and return

General Discussion Started Last reply 14 posts
having recently tried out the trial account, not a bad experience though, and wanna make it a paid one..but i currently reside in Singapore, where i could not buy the game..SO what should i do, should i use credit card to pay online or Must i purchase the game to get a CD key 1st, then starting paying online?

could someone help, i really wanna return..:(
Try getting a game time card or game time card code. Buying the game will require you to subscribe your credit card in order to receive the free month. After that it automatically withdraws 15$/month. So yeah ... to be in control of your money i suggest you to buy 60-day game time cards

He/she must get a CD-Key prior to applying to any of this...

I have checked the NC store, it is replied with this.. {Unfortunately, this item is not available for sale to your region from the NCsoft Store. We suggest you inquire with a local retailer to make your purchase}from NC store..

Basically, Singapore is not a place for L2, not a single hard-core gamer i know of knows this game. :(

could someone tell me how to get an anline time L2 card?? must it require a CD key??

And if it needs CD key, meaning i have to purchase the game with credit card,,which is sth i dont have,,i am still someone halfway reling on my parents:(

Don't think so. The CD-Key was for the account registration i believe but since we now make free accounts (trial) u can use GTC. At least that's what i did. Correct me if im wrong

pls tell me whats GTC..? maybe i could follow your way to activate my trial account ;)
so the 1st step is to buy the CD key,,but Singapore does not sell L2,how can i use the CD key to activate my trial account

2nd qustion, as soon as i activate the account, any NCsoft 60days time card could be used for L2??
I have just gone back to check my accont information in the forum,,sry for some of the noob questions here, i dont much about the paying process:(

Question. in the Account Management,,they ask for keying in of serial code...is it this serial code the CD key that have to be entered???and if so, meaning i dont have to buy the game itself,, but rather getting a CD key online could ensure the activation of my trial account??:confused:

1. go to offgamers.com. But dont look on anything else then CD key or game time cards! I dare you!
2. buy there Lineage 2 CD key (no region limited) and, if you dont wanna use your credit card to pay for L2 time, buy a game time card of your choice (no region limited)
3. Logon to your NC master account, apply L2 CD key you got from seller
4. you will be asked to put your credit card details. Not sure if you can cancel it now, but you sure will be able to cancel it later so no worries, NO MONEY AT ALL will be charged in the first month.
5. apply your game time card if you bought one
6. cancel monthly subscription billed to your credit card if you wish

Note: before applying game time card, system will ask you which account do you wish to apply the time on.

GZ, you may logon with your account now.

Just to prevent any other questions, you HAVE TO buy L2 CD key, you HAVE TO own the game to play, NO TRIAL ACCOUNT counts as L2 CD key.

hope this helps

The CD-Key wasn't for account registration... Back in 2006 I tried to create an account for Lineage 2 and managed to create a Master NC Soft account...

But to activate Lineage 2 service, I must own the game, meaning I should buy a CD-Key.

Trial accounts gives us Trial CD-Keys, like Demo CDs. To you only get a Demo copy of the game for free, but you must buy the retail copy to activate.

GTC = Game Time Card, they are cards that add time to your account. They can be actual cards, bought in game stores, or just a Serial Number, when you buy the GTC online, like I do.

thx for alll the help given above:)

in the mean time, i have also browsed upon some other issues related to CD key.

And one of which i dont understand is that,,it is said the contry i am currently residing would have impact on the CD key being chosen..

But i reside in SIngapore, neither US nor Euro,,which CD key should i choose? Although Inside L2. the server i play is Euro..

So in my case,,wad CD key i should pick?:confused:
The server you play on bears no relevance to the account localization. If it did ppl in latin america couldnt play anywhere for example.
I suggest you to choose US because it is cheaper ATM.
I buy TC online because romanian CCs are not accepted right now. 2 clannies from Moldova also had to drop out because CC from there arent accepted either. Lucky they can play in russian servers, but you dont have that option.

Dude, just buy it at steam store....

If you have an international credit card, you can buy it from anywhere, either acces the steam store in their website or download their software.

Steam is great, not only to Lineage, but as an international gaming community.
