Hello Sace,

Does the dev team has any news about the confirmed bug (since H5 PTS): Servitor not getting Attribute defense from him master ?

Thank you,

Laby
According to QA we're still waiting on a final response from the devs, but it's suspected that it is working as designed. Once we get a final answer about it I'll let you know. :)
Yummy, full vitality :D

The weekly maintenance vitality refills we do now is something that we have to do manually as part of our maintenance process. In GD I believe it is built-in, so we won't need to include it in our maintenance process.

Ok Sace, I will do some new tests to see if it's working as designed or not for me :)
Sace how long does it take to fix the describtion bugs of Cov/Pof and other skills? They have been reported looong ago and it shouldnt be much work to change INcrease into DEcrease etc :D

I also don't understand this... Everything that has to do with changing the text should be easy enough since it's being done for the translation of each Update as well... Or do the Koreans also have to do these changes??

What about new files l2.bin core.dll and others being downloading now? What was fixed/changed?
u can do it your self thats how easy its :P

Another territory had issues with l2.bin. Although we did not have these issues, all fixes made are applied to all territories (obviously with the exception of localization).

I haven't heard anything about that bug so I'll forward this question to QA.

It's much more than just l2.bin, etc items, armorgrp and other files i saw were being changed as well as nwindow.dll perhaps others that scrolled too fast to see (I suppose i could see which was modified).

Dumb question, but this statement made no sense to me... What's a "territory" and how could just one "territory" have problems with a file that's seeded to everyone as the same?

Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, China, Russia and North America are the different territory of Lineage 2 if I'm not wrong :)
Not sure why so much time is wasted each week on what was changed and why. The files belong to NCSoft, they felt some changes were needed to their files so they changed them. They don't have to tell us squat about what they are doing and you don't have to play the game. The dev team will fix the issues they can fix when they can fix them.

This is the same every week.

Oh...

Suddenly, the entire Sace's post made a huge sense!

Clear as seawater on the Caribbean, thank you very much, Laby!

well, you see in different countries there are different builds of l2. For example login system structure has been changed this week on russian servers.
But some files are common for all the versions. Imho that is what Sace has posted about.

Yepp, exactly what I had in mind after Laby had explained it to me...
^^ at least I've registered here
Maybe my l2.bin error will be fixed ... im so exited to try the client :)
OMG in system folder is new file (library) "beecrypt.dll" which i never seen before. What this means?

beecrypt.dll is possibly a malicious file related to spyware, and the false beecrypt.dll is one of those programs that are undesirable to get installed on your system. It may continue to install many corrupted files on your system and you would not even know about it

http://www.bestspywarescanner.net/errors/beecrypt.dll.html
it's a cryptography librairy
It's obviously NCSofts answer to third-party programs. lol :D
Hmm u edit Syndella's post but dont state any official comment Sace? ><
http://sourceforge.net/projects/beecrypt/
BeeCrypt is an ongoing project to provide a strong and fast cryptography toolkit. Includes entropy sources, random generators, block ciphers, hash functions, message authentication codes, multiprecision integer routines, and public key primitives.
