The fact that you can not see that I am indeed joking means you are taking this forum too seriously. Most of the time peeps just post garbage about update release dates and/or what changes and add on "I was told" when they know it was from no one that really knows jack diddly. So yeah, posting the rules and asking for his sources is a way to ping back. Personally I could care less what day the release is supposed to be. I will most likely be playing on that date regardless. No need for anyone to lose sleep trying to figure out when it will be.

I do think more newbie encouraging must be done, however, 1-82 in 3 weeks fully legit is too much...
Just bring GoD faster so the "active" ppl can get 99.100 and be happy for a day or two.

Yesterday i did lvl 23-35 Raids with a 7 ppl party.
Hell we had a **** lot of fun. Slaying some easy, hard task on others etc.
If ppl cant manage to get fun 1-76, then there wont be fun 76+ too.
Best is still to play this game with a few RL friends, starting all together, exploring the world (and this is what is missing. I am sure most of the ppl that joined maybe few months ago dont know even 1/4 of the L2 Map)

I don't know spots in DV that would be worth visiting with a group better than those pick up groups.
Or is there a way to pole those drakos groups/splits? Do they drop anything worth mentioning? Is it better exp than LoA?
there is 1 spot that's better then loA up to a certain point as for example nothing will beat Karik aoe with anakims.. and no I'm not going to mention it here as I get ganked enough as is by my wartags, not that I mind the pvp but that spot isn't good for me with that many mobs on me :)

I myself did the math and got to the same day, just didn't asked or put it public because it was just a guess.
Everything related to computers and their admins tend to have a pattern. I, being part of this world, tend to think on patterns too, hence why I guess they are working by a pattern.
But that's too much guessing already... I should be on "Deal or Not Deal", guessing that much...

System Admins tend to have patterns. People who work with logic, math, computers or so tend to see patterns, even when they don't exists.
But I haven't said nothing about something only IT people and Admins knows... People who like math or logic as hobbies usually see patterns.
It's kinda like a flawed mechanic to make anything in life make sense, it isn't foolproof, or else a "Love Pattern" would be already known...
Also didn't said somebody else who didn't match any of those criteria wouldn't be able to see some pattern.

Answering about the pattern, I've already noted to my clannies that, since Jun 8th, we are having one event right 2 weeks without any events (I don't know about events prior this date, since this was the day I began playing).
Jun 8th: x2 XP/Drops week starts.
Jun 15th: x2 XP/Drop week ends.
Jun 22th: 1 week after end, no event here.
Jun 24th: 2 weeks after event's end, new x2 XP/Drop (PAW) week begins.
Jul 6th: x2 XP/Drop (PAW) week should end, but got extended due to high demand.
Jul 13th: x2 XP/Drop week ends
Jul 20th: 1 week after end, no event here.
Jul 27th: 2 weeks after event's end, Rabbit event begins.
Aug 3th: Rabbit scrolls stop dropping, so you can't farm more than what has been already farmed. One may say the event ended here. For those who didn't exchanged all their Apigas nor opened all scrolls yet, an Exchange Week Begins.
Aug 10th: 1 week after "end". Exchange Week (which can't be counted as event week IMO, since you can't get more items) ends
Aug 17th: 2 weeks after event's "end", new x2 XP/Drop week begins.
Aug 18th: Words of Wise Contest Begins.
Aug 24th: x2 XP/Drop ends.
Aug 31th: Words of Wise Contest Ends.
Sep 7th: 1 week after end, no event here.
Sep 14th: 2 weeks after event's end, new x2 XP/Drop week begins.
Sep 21th: If not extended, x2 XP/Drop week shall end.
I see some kind of pattern there. Rabbit's event lasted one week for farming. After that, rabbits weren't a problem anymore (the NPC used to say it), so we may count that Rabbit's event lasted one week only.
Word of Wise wasn't hooked to the Server Maintenance, hence why it started one day later. It's times were different than InGame events. My personal guess is that they would like to have it started with the x2 week, but they couldn't start x2 week on Aug 18th.
Also, I guess they try to match events in weeks we don't have TW or Siege from now on, since events can make those empty.
Following these points, I had also guessed that Sep 14th would hold a new x2 XP/Drop period or some other event. I was wrong until late in Sep 12th Sace announced it.

Big props... you told us everything and yet told us nothing of future events or the release date. You sir have one and I regress to my dark cave for now.
I don't think the release date could enter this pattern... That's no Game Event IMHO...
Still, should this x2 XP/Drop week end on Sep 21th and should this pattern keep going, I GUESS we would have a new event by Oct 5th.
I also GUESS that that would be a money event, for Sace has been hinting another money event for too long and we had so many x2 XPDrop events that the Adena Grind had fallen behind.
However, Staff might see this topic and, in order to troll me (or not), delay or hasten the next event, making me look like a fool for GUESSING too much.

It was never said that there would be money events between every double XP event. We will, however, have another money event before GD launch. We'll post info about that later this month
So we should at least know what it is in the next couple weeks.
