We really need a realistic time frame from ncsoft now... so many people are getting bored and quitting this game. From clan/friendlist alone lost 20 over the last week. This never ending soon business is making people tire of endless waiting.... stop wasting time on usless blogs please and deliver an active time frame.

The game right now is bleeding to death from loss of people,Nsc should be opened in sharing ideas with players and do things that would bring and keep players in our servers.
Some of players live in usa,they could bring messages and ideas from their clans too,making this way the whole of L2 community to be heard.

It would not be good for the reputation of NCsoft if they released a game update where a major part of the content is not working. I am sure that the developers are frantically trying to fix that bug, but as the experience with Beleth's teleportation cubic has shown, this may take some time.

In Korea, the cubic simply didn't appeared, personally I call it a bug :P

From news letters, to blogs, to patch notes to events developed solely to prepare for G0D.......we, the players, read about the game on Korean websites trying to best develop our own idea on how to either prepare for the changes or leave...
This is resulting is so much speculation: how important to level subs, consider stone of destiny for a new class, re roll entirely, survive in a market in complete chaos, as well as many people simply deciding to wait and unsub until release....
We were told the release will occur in the Fall.....then Sace develops a "LEVELING GUIDE" contest in August, a contest many consider to be strangely timed as the people that are playing this game do not need a guide about classes, groups or environments that will change in what we were told was the FALL....September 5th today.....
Guys, GoD is the BIGGEST update to ever be introduced to L2 and you want it 'NAO!!1!1one'. Just like Sace said, there's A LOT of work to still be done, at least we know that they've got a GoD QA server running (if you check the shot from the current I Spy contest you'll see the sky is the one from GoD) and it's not as if they've not done anything.
It looks like we're getting really close to its release with NCSoft rushing the Double XP weeks and the amount of info being released on the preview site. If you remember, Freya took ages to be released, everybody thought that Epilogue was the last update to L2, but GoD is probably coming much sooner than Freya did.

Beleth is a bad example as even when it did work it was still bugged at getting the actual ring so w/e.. it's part of the game that it has some lol bugs..
but even though this topic will be deleted as soon as the moderators read it I'll +1 it cause it's true.. mayor clans on Naia have been slowly bleeding out due to this and guess what even I'm on an extended break till GoD is out and only login for TW/Sieges now..
plenty of other games around that are fun to play like Deus Ex and replaying Mass Effect2 on Insanity etc :)

This is more serious update so no wonder it takes lot of time. Btw its not true that interval between updates is 12 months. And we at least dont have to pay for it like WoW players for example.
But yes I feel some kind of lack of motivation too. Grinding is even more boring when I realize how faster or funnier (with new quests) it will be when GoD will come live.

The update cycle here and in Korea is identical, we just get the updates later than they do, but we don't spend more time playing a specific update than they do. They played High 5 for 9 months or so, same will apply to us.
And yes lots of people have quit cause they 've been 86/3x81 for two years now and they got bored

Yeah but if they keep their word and actually advertise for this update, it will actually be their most successful update, I just doubt they will actually keep their word and spend money on advertising ( like on the TV ~~ ), if they just did a 3 min advertisement with some of their movie content, switching to some mass PvP fraps content, switched to some epic raid boss content in hi grade fraps mode, as a TV advertisement people would come in in droves, but they never seem to understand that ~~
+ (rly hate to say, but i sound like Monica) fix this stupid wellknown bot programm.... Just manage to stop them logging in with it.

If someone bots in your party just kick him and let him be killed by mobs.
Ever heard about macro /assist+hit?This is the last power remaining on mage classes and no program need to spam it.I'm sure people also use program to do it,but you wont get rid of it by simply not allow any program,this is a basic pvp fuction of pvp partys.Maybe change the game and make it 1s1 pvp again?So you get only the debuffs only 1 class can give you?

Nscoft failure is that developers fail on give updates!The most important content each time simply doesnt work and we players see the new content only on images and notes.
Was it impossible for a developer team to update/evolve a game that was not their creation without so many mistakes?It's not my field,i dont know.But people that run a game's buisnesscompany should know.
Those that /emoquit waiting for GoD will log back in once the update is released, they always do. Getting a projected release date that is postponed several times as “issues†arise is a useless. Honestly, everyone should know requesting a proposed release date is absolutely (learned to spell that word in a bar) useless. Being adult enough to patiently wait for an actual GoD release date… PRICELESS.

if you read my post again you might notice that all I'm saying is that there are more reason for ppl to quit then omg another lvl grind when xp is more or less meaningless..
the real reason is that without pvp most NA/Euro end game players will just leave and the combination of a grind of which the cap will be reached within 3 months + gear that is farmed in instances -> once folks are 99 -> no more pvp so why stay..
this is openly discussed on other forums but I doubt that many folks that post here are fully aware of these things..
for myself am still undecided but as said before it's a fact most top clans are draining empty right now..
@Dracha fyi 99% of ppl that cash out will not come back period so stop being so clueless and pray there will really be an influx of new players :)
I have not prayed for anything and will not start over some game. I am merely pointing out what as always happened. As with each and every update there will be those that leave and never come back, those that leave to wait out the update but return and play, those that leave to wait out the update return to be dissatisfied leaving after a short while and those that don't leave to find a different source of entertainment... simply ride out the low period before the update.

Well just check how the market is flooded with epics. And not only the cheap easy AQ/Tezza.
There are many Anthy's, Valakas, Baiums etc for sale getting cheaper and cheaper. Wont think about the amount that trade under the desk in the savety of the darkness.
There is a number of reasons people are selling their epics, not all (or even the majority) of them are cashing out. Perhaps if you paid more attention to those other fora you 'd know why.

There's a far stronger reason for people not to want to pay and play L2 as it is now in our servers.
Since now we have a very strict banning policy that doesnt let any player to bot to make adena(no need for lvling,its done and new update's lvling sounds easy)
or ebay(exept people that know people who quit game and buy items/toons and some adena)
how to compete against old cheaters that were never banned in all their accounts,take heros in multiple toons and pocess tonz for bilions of adena?
For anything top in game you need to find bilions of adena and you cant make them with market anymore.
So why to pay to play in servers you cant compete?

3min advert is super expensive o.o unless you run it at 4am... but noone would see it <_<

Actually i did. And no, with GoD launch u will have a hard time getting BJ with equal stats as Baium/Zaken even Anthy will take lot of time till they get the blessed one.
Ppl that stay mostly dont sell them, they use them to xp and take some +4++ R Grade jewels for places with strong nukers or at Oly vs. strong nukers.

People like to whine, I got that. People like to assume without researching and like to throw things back to others faces, I got that too.
Still, the update is coming when it is ready, with the bugs it might had unfixed by there and it will be advertised some how, for that's the producer word and, if we are to believe in something, I say we believe in the people in charge of getting this game running with as many people as possible.
IMO the GD info tsunami made too many people go dormant. Also, in order to have as many high levels as we can, they began to do x2 events too many times and people began whining about that.
All for all, it's all about whining. I know, you payed for the game. I did too and I know we have rights to ASK some actions from the staff, but, c'mon, whining won't translate or correct GD bugs faster, neither will, out of suddenly, block robots and ill-minded players / toons.
Too many threads on the same matter have been created. Later, as well as this thread, those derailed to the very same topics, like "NC Soft don't ban cheaters", "This game should go F2P or it will die" and so on.
People from the staff already saw ALL those suggestions. In case they missed the first time, those very same suggestions were posted on the Player Chat for May and August, Moxie already answered most if not all of them.
So no point in whining and no point in crying for a date or talking about game dying. If the game isn't good enough for keeping you happy, enough to make you go to forums and cry, why would you still play it? Every time I got bored or frustrated with some game I quit. It's cheaper to my bank account and I got more free time plus I don't have to worry about what's right and what's wrong.
GunBound NA was like that, full of cheaters until mid levels. It's was all about farming. And it is F2P. So you get to middle levels by farming (Cheats there affect the cheaters team, not only the cheater) and, when you get to play on rooms where RMT makes difference, you got crushed for people can pay for huge upgrades that can only be bought with cash. Too much was wrong I didn't bother playing anymore, thought I always found that game interesting.
Just saying that repeating yourself won't make anything better than it already is. Also, the update will come in the NC way: When they think it is ready to come. We won't ever manage to rush them and, particularly, I rather have an update in time than a rushed broken one that might diminish game population even more...
