I'm a new player, who quited l2 on interlude and what to spend some time here again.
I tried to find something on forum using search button, however i got bored really fast and jumped out with this topic :p
I am wondering if you have any suggestion for what server shall i play, i`m looking for a community with party at all levels between 20-76 because i do not want to box and i want to raise a cardinal so I want to know if the servers are boring or there is still animation at low levels
Naia has lower population, but from what ppl say, it is more fun than Chronos, since some ppl transfered here.
But you shouldnt choose based on that, because, if you are in europe and want to play in chronos you will find out that sieges/tw, events in general are taking place at weird hours int he night, but as US person you can play in EU, the peak time there will be like in your afternoon, depends on your schedule.
While at lower level it might be irelevant to some point (dont forget ppl play mostly at peak time so finding a party when they sleep is much harder), later in the game it becomes a big issue...

The server depends on ur playtime.
Chronos = US times
Naia = EU times
So u should decide on that, only if u have perma night ***** etc. then a server of the opposite would be best.
There are still clans on both servers willing to invite + xp at ur mentioned range. Also i need to mention that xping is much faster nowadays.
As for xping a future Cardi i recommend u to get fast into a academy and then join the main clan. Most pve clans have some ppl in/near ur range and hitting S Grade will come fast.
Do the pet Quest for a Kookabura, cos once it is 55 it will help u to play the nuker style with Inquisitor till 76 when u cant get a party.
It's really nice to see nice people answer nicely, I think I will choose EU server as I am from EU. I'll see the recruitment link thank you very much Dreamer.

imo, the servers are more or less the same, and the stories of more/better PvP on one or the other are just a result of the grass is greener syndrome some people seem to have.

only diff is naia is full of scrubs who cant pvp, o wait the bot is doing it all for them so they are actually the top scrubs of the server

Acording to NC staff, the bots are being "monitored" all the time and we should not talk about them in the forums and especially in newbie areas because this doesnt help newbies decide to give them money for nothing.
For a game they didnt create, they poorly admin and they use to give NCK a bad name while losing the korean legits money all the time.
Legits are considered exceptional and not worth the same treatment as everyone else, even tho we pay the same money, different rules apply for us in order to give satisfaction to the bots by banning the legits and closing their threads because the bots abuse them there.

Since High5 there has been 0 bots in any catacomb ive visited, WOA and goodard field 0 bots. It has never been this good playing l2 ever as a legit.
Hell the ADENA valua has SKYROCKETED (my todays worth of 400m is WAAAAY more valuble then 2 years ago its not even funny).
Heck the mills you earn from drops now actually mean some small bit, before it was either play the market and leach on the buyers, or become a buyer.
To bad they didnt do this in C2! But credit is due anyway for cleaning up the servers to GoD. Its not perfect but the game is playable for legits now! And its fun as hell, havent had this much fun since c2-3

Nobody said there are more bots now than before, or that they are in the same numbers. In Franz was playable for legits too, before merger.
But the cause fr this is not NC action, but their inaction. So many ppl voted with their feet as expected after the merger, that now we are at the level of ppl franz had before merger (well, not yet, but close).
Sure, when there is no market, the spread between buy and sell adena is increasing dramatically, just talk to the adena companies and try to sell, see what price they offer...
It is no longer worth to run the cata trains, aa price is close to 2, the only things that are worth it are the epic raids top bot clans are doing, and only a couple of them, even.
As I said before, as more and more bots get bored and quit, the game becomes playable for legits. I suspect soon enough taking castle without bot help should be possible for legit clans, other games are launching in these months, the situation will continue to improve.
However, playing in an empty server shouldnt be the goal and this will also cause the game to close, but, since NC still didnt understand to this day that bots dont save the game, and are still betting on bot return in the "next update" and promise them more CvC and gankings, like many times before, well, what can we do...
Just hope Koreans will look into the matter and force some change. If that fails, at least make a campaign to convince them to host over there a server in English for us.
