OMG, I was going to plug pull and I read this and now i'm not!!! Thanks!!! I just can't believe this has happened!! With this event I can now start to level my characters again... all hope is not lost! The end of all that is holy has not come just yet!! All that is evil in the world will be pushed back during this week!!

and again a nice event but with a bad management.... talking about to do this too to help the "new" players but in fact all this 2x exp weeks more a boni for old players they collected with the great or not so great^^ events the vit refill items. Just sad that you did no event with vit items before do this here.
unfortunately i likely won't have the oppurtunity to be able to use the event... i think in all the doube xp events.. i've been able to play during 1 of them for any length of time above 30 minutes..
but hey... it's harvest time...... little time to play games.

i cant think of an event that a new player will benefit more than an old one.
-If the bonus is exp older players have vita potions
-if it depends on grinding older players USUALY have better equipment knowladge of spots and more friends
-if you can buy quest items old players USUALY have more adena
It is also kind of obvious that the advantage that the event gives will always be used better by older players. They have what a new player has AND a lot more

Is it possible to bring pvp back to the game.. instead of XP?
There can be plenty of "PvP". Just find some lowbies to gank and everything's fine :)
Get your newbie ng items, dress up and flag at the stripmine, at obelisk, immortal plateau if you manage to find someone, "PvP" is everywhere, just need a bit of patience and luck to find it.
Also, what happened with dion gates "PvP" ? That was tons of fun, "PvP" D graders on their road to HC to see them "cry moar" !

I don't like GM buffs/replenish vit in random times in fantasy isle. I can't leave my computer power on waiting replenish vit.
If you are in game you receive a message after a certain time: "You have been playing for and extended period of time please consider taking a break."
When GM's give for players replenish vitality in random times, GM's are unconsciously forcing players to play for a long time.

Unfortunately as we are getting closer to Goddess of Destruction, we are very busy and we cannot promise that we will give GM buffs during this event. This is why we have included Angel Cat and Nevit's Herald, so that players still have some buff and vitality boosts during the double XP. Of course, when we do have an opportunity to give buffs, we will, but it will not follow a schedule.

Angel Cat's function is only tied to giving out the buff potions he has; he cannot give other items.
Just a suggestion from my side, I am sure it can be done from a technical point of view.
With the maintenance you could give server wide all highest level chars on an account lets say, for example, 5 or 6 revita pops. Has been done in the past and I don't see why it shouldn't be able to do now. I guess that would only need a script from your tech team to apply that.
That way you don't have to worry about coming ingame since you're working on GoD and are busy and players will get benefit from the buff potions, revita pops and Nevit Herald :)

Can you guys please think about give us 7 Revita Pops instead of Vitality Refill during the week? It's easier for every1, no1 needs to let Character logged-in in Fantasy Island. It's just an idea u know ^^ i'm ok with the current "system"(GM Log-in, Vit Refill, Gm Buffs, have fun), but i prefer Revita Pops xD

I'm happy enough with 2x XP... even with vit0 it helps a lot!
Nevit's Herald will be in-game all week... you get your Nevit's Blessing buff from that NPC. No need for GMs to pop in, let them spend their time working on the GoD update.
:mad: I understand that GM dont have time for vit/buff, but double xp without vit is not a event. Leveling with 0 Vit at high levels are VERY slow, even with double XP. We lose the urge to leveling so. At least give us some vit pots or something like that to help us to level up. Vit is mor important than Buff. :mad:
I don't see what you're complaining about people. This isn't some place where you can be given max levels and gear. Be lucky NC is helping you out this much. "Old players" don't have it better. The event is intended to help stragglers get up to max level so that they can enjoy GoD. I for one like it because since things are double drop rate it brings prices down on stones and mats. Now is the time to prepare that is what this is for. People complain no matter what you do to help them out. Thanks Sace for putting on these events,they've helped me out when I've been able to play!
What could possibly hurt things if dbl xp were left turned on until god? How could things get any worse server statistics wise by doing this?
I am 85 100 for more than a year and would prefer a busier server than a server that currently only shows any activity during dbl xp.

reason is all u get then is a server full of ppl that want something for nothing its not indicitive of real play imo. so u would just be pretending u have a full server :-S

If you play every day, you have vit zero during all the time.
If you play every day and you are lvl 80 and you charachter have "lucky 100" you can play 4h each day with vit 0 and nevit 50%.
Ok. You play in 1.5x mode for 4 hours (remember you have lucky 100 and spend 5M each day in nevit blessing).
Now you have event exp x2 and nevit blessing for free, 3x. 2x more than you 1.5x for 4 hours. And you save 5M adena in your bag.
The cat buff is better than GM buffs, because this itens is realy usefull, you can use it when your need.
If you look, near 15% of players get GM buffs and go to exp spots, another 85% stay in isle waiting only vitality replenish, GM buff is not the target of players, only vitality replenish.
Four buff itens in cat is a little number, but is very usefull.
But... rly, consider you play 1 hour each day with 1.5x and 23 hours with 1x, now you will see this event is triple exp, not double.

Is it possible to restart the server? because chronos is lagging really badly everytime I step into GC, or Toi where most people would be leveling. The lag is just horrible. Fix the lag please, thank you.
I've reported to network services that multiple players are seeing lag on Chronos, but we are not having any network issues on our end. If the problem was on our end, every single player that connects to Chronos would see the same issue. That is not the case. As multiple players are, in fact, seeing the issue, it is likely that there is a particular connection point somewhere in the USA that is causing this problem (since not everyone connects through that point, not everyone is seeing the problem). Unfortunately, we cannot know exactly where this point is so that we can contact them about their issues interfering with our customer experience. But we can if you help give us your info.
If you're experiencing lag on Chronos, please send a ticket (https://help.ncsoft.com/app/ask) to the tech support team and say where you are connecting from (city, state, country) and the name of your internet service provider. This will help us pinpoint where the problem lies.
