seems like that 20mins buffing is too much time away from their "developing GOD" time...

but yeah to the OP i have to agree, seems pretty scroogy >< the vitality is the most important part of gm buffs to most I think, so vita pops would be nice :( 14 pops would be the equivalent to gm's buffing twice a day and 14 Angel Buffs too lol
I do appreciate the double xp and herald buff, but don't really feel too motivated to xp on zero vit lol, but others seem to be ok with it :p
Just to make it easy on gm's get the gatekeepers to do buffs and vit by clicking a link in their dialog box. No need to install it for the double xp events, just leave it all the time! :D
ps: I would rather forgo the forum contests during an xp event week rather than forgoing gm vit and buffs :/ but that's just me lol
omg people, stop complaining. you have double XP and double droprate. You have fall of the dragon-buff and the cat that gives you 4 buff items. and you are still not happy?
It's basically like you have level 2+ vitality the entire week. I do know what its like to be discouraged by that empty vit bar, but this week just ignore it and keep grinding and you should see results.

You have 4 buff potions, perma Nevit's and double droprate and xp. I guess this is enough.
GM Buff are some extra care they gave to us, we can't really brag or ask of it.
People should use their time on forums to enlighten others and ask questions, but nowadays 75% of the new threads are QQ, either because this is too easy and that is too hard and new players don't have everything old ones do (OMG, how could this be possible if I played 3 months and they played 6 years? We should be the same! ¬¬) or about bots and cheaters and how the server is empty and what so...

Maybe its bluntto suggest but can a vitality event be held instead of 2 * xp, a week xp'ing on full vita is much better then a week 2* xp.
With or without GM buffs or free Vita refill is ok, Double Exp and loot is all i needed. Imagine the time when there was no such thign as Double Exp/SP/Loot and Vita was something no one ever heard of?

Yeah, i know that, i don't have a box buffer too......that's why party matching is so good, clan is so good, parties with other ppl are so good. Those GM buffs are cool only because of Counter Critical and COV with no speed reduction IMO. The most important on last events was the Vit refill not the buffs xD

I'm 83 LVL, and i made it playing 1 hour/day for 3-4 months and this was possible cuz of those 2xExp/Drops events. With or without Vit+Buffs this event is GOOD ENOUGH. Ofc i'd like to get some Revita Pops but if i don't get it...it's ok lol, why complain?
Think about the time when there was no vitality and nevit...this is hard, not today.

We too, we are playing hard to prepare our chars for GOD and by this way colaborate with NCSoft trying all new features at lvl 85+. During this event I get 100k per mob until the vit ran down to 0 0 the first day, than I got 24k again.
To me it made no sense to do so, unless they thought the gold drops might help players, because even with dbl drops ( common item drops just don't cut it).
I am thankful we have the event, but the whole point is to lvl, so at least pops or actual vit npc would have been nice.

behind, creating a big sciscion in the L2 popultaion, where one group wont play with another annymore because of level diffirence...
Our population is already small enough not to worsen it more , need vita !

I think most everyone here has a valid point. So, let me add another potentially valid point.
Some of us that have played this game forever it seems, still now and then decide to lvl another toon from scratch. Which means all the previous events that gave out cakes, pots, and whatever dont exist in our inventory. So, in comes double XP events. Does wonders for a brand spanking new toon. But wait, no GM vit or buffs this time, that star thing is pathetic. Its cool, i have many toons that can benefit from all that u give during this event. Would have loved tohave gotten GM buffs and vit twice a day on the one toon that i reallllyyyy wanted to lvl, but i'll get over it. I'm sure another D.XP.E. is just down the road. Cause unlike most i see GoD like i see Diablo3.. I'll believe it when i see it.

It could have happened that way - it would be painful and slow, but there is no reason that going 1-77 solo as a DC is out of the relm of possiblity.

The parties I've seen so far dont learn by trial and error. And when you point out they are doing stuff wrong, you get snotty remarks as a reward.

I'm not being elitist. I'm just saying the majority of atleast Chronos neutral clans has no idea how to play the game properly.
I've had ppl come up to me, when I have the entire room killed, and ask me if I need a DD. First of all, if the room is empty, why would I need another DD? Then I ask them to link their weapon, to see if they would even count as a DD. And they link me low S grade weapons with anything from 60 to 150 element. And this is what they expect me to party them from.
Seriously, if ppl wanna go to GC with 150 weps, just shout "DD class lf leeching" instead of "DD lfg", coz I have support classes that outdamage them.

Thanks for not understanding that there are exceptions. On a day to day basis I dont party outside of clan. About once a month I join a party matching group to see if the playerbase has improved. So far I've been nothing but discouraged from partying with randoms.
I do find that for random parties it really depends on the party leader 1) know the game mechanics 2) know what works and what don't. Group with a good party leader works really well.
In some past double exp, I remember a SE party leader rejected my main with CC into the party because he/she thinks a DC is better. Less than 2 mins later another party invited me as they need a replacement buffer and the party was just awesome. About 40 mins later, when we needed a stigma replacement guess who joined... It's that SE :D
Smittie, the random playerbase won't improve if no one give them tough love (like kicking them out of party when they don't listen 8-) lol). You have to do your tough love in the game rather than in the forum for the in game playerbase to improve :p
Also, try making parties in environments with actual aggro mobs, and not the safe confines of GC.

You must have misread, I dont look for DD's in GC, I can kill the mobs on my own, 4-boxing.
I was referring to ppl with improper gear and lvls running around GC looking for parties, when they dont even have any business being there.
Next time you have a party in GC that is "working well", move it to Dragon Valley, and see what happens.

Someone who can be successful in GC with no gear DOES have business being there - and not as you have suggested being in DV. They are just different spots - if you are tired of seeing people having an easy time in GC - you should be the one who moves...
They arent having an easy time in GC, I am. They are just too dense to realize that they arent really doing well, and would more than likely get faster exp in spots closer to their lvl.
For me its more about the double droprate then double xp atm.
95% of parties won´t even take you if u do not have a weapon with 200 ele and ****.
For a "new" player (new meaning that you haven't played in years and have no adena at all) and running around in common gear that means u are bound to solo.
With double drop rates I have atleast managed to grind 40mil Adena (1-67) and been able to buy a Tallum heavy set +3 (was lucky to find a shop who sold the set for 9mil).
But yeah, double xp and GM who replenish vitality is awesome and I hope they return with more of these events.
All I want is to get to maxlvl before GoD so that I can party with people again because hey, it is a MMO and playing with people is more fun.

If NCSoft wants everyone to have a level 85 100% character so badly why don't they just run a script on the database and make it so? Would be much easier than running 2X events every three weeks and popping into give vitality level 4 twice a day... a vitality boost that only last roughly as long as the GM buff round anyway.
Double XP is very similar to grinding with vitality level 2, and let's not forget about getting the dragon slayer buff every 3 hours, what the bubblegum is anyone complaining about? Stop reading the forums and get your high level character in game and GRIND!!!
