I really can't the new double XP event or events.
1. Nowadays peoples just want login when is double xp event.
2. You already made too much double xp event more and more will get higher level and some peoples will get totally or almost totally maxed characters, so more and more peoples won't login also on double xp event also on not event days.
3. You should taken any event what is would be funny too not only useful.
4. The lots of double XP event too unfair against the older players, it is only fake words "that let the new players XP faster". The developers in Korea already decrease sometimes update by update the number of XP what is need to leveling, to can closing the new players to older ones.
5. Most of those newbie players who level up really fast by the event, don't know nothing from the game, so at higher level all of them are useless!
6. Who will help than the new players in the GD or the returner players if everyone will 85? Because it is important too, that the players can enjoy the game at lower level too!
7. If the newbies (I understand here those players who play here since a year or less time) got so much help in game, I guess we old players who play since 3,4,5 or more years should get any in game boost too the Goddess of Destruction.
8. It will be huge problem in the Goddess of Destruction if everyone will start the new contents at same time, the areas, instance will be too much crowded, so maybe a part of newbies who got high lvl so fast under the event will quit, they won't be enough good in pvp to defend themselves or their spots.
9. I have about 300-400 vitality item what still not used up and maybe many another old players has much too, so maybe the players now will feel, they are on same level as us, but in a month (or in some months) these newbies will be maybe 87-88lvl while we will over 95 too.

There is not new players in l2 game, and there si not any funny been low lvl.
They need to do events at this time in the game. That is what keeps people motivated. Also I cannot agree on the fact that newer players shouldn't be able to level up faster. You really want people to get to 85 before GoD so they can experience the new content with everyone else. It is not like the L2 servers are flooded as it is so it is wise to make people progress to the new content of GoD in a relative quick pace.
I myself started the game in May 2004, so I consider myself an old player. But I wish for newer players to come enjoy they game at higher levels in GoD too. If not then the high level player base will diminish too quickly.
Thumbs up for events that makes it worth logging in. I think we will see many events until the PTS is out where people can hype a bit about the new content there. It is a good way of keeping people interested and maybe most importantly - it shows that NC Soft West really do care for the players and do their very best to keep people interested in this "void" there is until GoD arrives.
Oh not again this event .... Anakim was just starting to decrease in number and it will bring agains more anakim ....
anakim by itself is not problem, especially if you drop it and get instant adena billionaire ;) everything else is worth nothing anymore anyway because of all these events.
Anyway the real problem is that anakim needs to be nerfed and not made more rare. Those lucky people that dropped the first time :( :( now it will be worth even more money (it will not drop in this event).

you got that right but not just for the lowbies under us, where are the events for the 85/80/80/80 players ? right now those are the ones quiting/going into hibernation mode as there is nothing left for them to do and this has been the case for a long a z z time..
sure it's nice if lowbies hit 85 cause the more the merrier but this is backfiring when the existing population of 85+ is dropping hard out of boredom don't you agree ?

You are right, I guess, but on the other hand what kind of event except for a faster release of GoD will keep them? The best thing NC can do is to keep the flow of new players as high as possible and make leveling much easier such that we ll all have people to play with. Don't say I like it much, I see the logic of it though....
best kind of events for them might be like a tournament - cross servers - (with GM's watching so it will be by hands :P) or random high level raids spawn in open pvp areas with funky drops that folks want to fight for ?

I have deeply in the *** vita pops for ME :D I have almost 35 cookies and bd buff on 5 chars :). Just they could give them for new players, for example friends in my const party who are new and don't have any, to faster boost and play with us in high lvl areas :)
I know that they want to reduce number of vita items in game and for this they are making double exp, but not every1 can play at this time.
Lf a event or rewards like the X-mas Cakes that can be send via mail again :P
Gladly will buy them all from the money i make with xping at the adena/drop spots and not on the xp spot :P

Well maybe i spend a few for my subs to complete 81/81/81 on em.
But mainly save for GoD and spend the 5x vit per week to boost the drops + xp race to max lvl (or 95 breakpoint for Tyr Warrior ><)
