Well, I changed the the option to start play on new European server.
First of all, still this change far not sure, but currently seems this is the best idea.
First of all hard this thing to me I'm here since 4,5 years I found many good friends and I enjoyed every seconds what I spent on the Teon and Naia with my characters.
But those facts what are still released made me at first time confused about the NCwest, I will all time to thankful to these peoples cuz without them I couldn't know, play and enjoy the Lineage 2. I really found something in my life what I really like to do as a hobby with some healthy fanatism.
From October of 2008 saw at the first time, that my favorite game has started have really problems at us, with the time a part of the problems solved, but still we have problems and we lost a lots of players.
So I really would like to see, that a day this game would get in Europe to kind of respect or popularity what it should had to get since long time. If to these necessary, that these changes happen than let's do how it will be better. Make the Lineage 2 successful as much possible!:)
Also if I would change to stay on Naia could keep my past, but it wouldn't be same it will move to US, the European players who are on Naia now slowly leave for real life reasons or go to Innova servers, while new European players won't arrive if just the existing European players will be able to use the NCwest servers.
It is really painful that the NCwest solved the problem in this form. Just kicked out us European players, after that many of them payed and played here since many years.

if its ok with you to have a program that scan your HDD, and monitoring your whole internet traffic , feel free to njoy the frost "protection"
Really depends on what that new hybrid subscription model looks like.
If it's going to be like "Hey, you still have to pay 13€ but can spend even more money on our new item shop" then I'll probably start from scratch on the new servers.
If it's going to be a similar/the same F2P model then I'd stay on Naia.

frost works by monitoring all processes on your PC and checking all internet traffic. if it can track my packets sent to l2 server, nothing forbids frost to track my bank accounts, documents and etc
my guess if one day they will decide to earn their pension, it will be the biggest 10 million user scam in the world and i will not pity those 10mil at all

You need to know, that through every programs what have internet connection, can check your whole pc.
Start the standards Windows use also internet connection this is your system, so Bill Gates and his band can know about you everything what you make on your computer by this way.
Second the google or bing browser sites, by that fact that you use their search engine they can see to your head can see what about you interesting what you do etc.

I bet that the 90% of voters who didn't vote to continue to play on Innova server, didn't vote to it, because of some peoples who started says the dark prophecies about it.
Dunno what to do yet, maybe quit L2 as "main-game" and start over at a completly diffrent game and only have L2 as a casual game. Depends on where all my ingame friends are heading so i didnt vote.
No time to start over, and no way am I allowing Frost on my system, and no way, even if I had the time and inclination to have random people snooping at all my data, would I go play at servers aimed at attracting the lowest common denominator in gamers. So I will probably stick around here, or emoquit and go out for more beers.

my entire time on the internet since 1997..... I've only ran into 2 people that I've talked to on forums.. (very popular forums).... 1: because i showed them the forums.. so i don't think that counts.. and 2: they lived in the same city at the time.
There are pro's and cons in living where i live..... more pros then cons.... but one con is well.. being 100 miles from any chance being near anything that may show up.. and it's technically about 1500 miles from any place that is likely to host any form of event that i may be interested in.

Of course there will be dominating clans over there. Some people will be willing to spend money on 50% exp stones, vitality pots, Nevit pots and account share enough to keep each party online 24/7. The carebears from here will be whining in a couple of weeks, month tops when the first heroes appear and they are still just about third class

Of course always be a clan or ally what is better than the others just the question with how much, better and why they can be better.
Sadly here many of them can be better because they can use cheats.

Yes, yes peoples can cheat, this is the kind of thing, that not be a system what u can't crack up.
But also difference as I told how much the cheaters can use out their cheats. Because maybe if you constantly cheat on a Innova server in 1-2 days you will get bann. But at the NCwest so many top clan players use pvp cheats and much after still play here without bann after many years too.
Also if the players can see, that they can be banned easy, they won't use cheats.
But sadly when I last time heard about a person who got bann for pvp cheat program on NCwest server it was in the HGMspam times...

Technically that's a logical fallacy. If 1 clan can cheat they dominate. if 10 clans cheat and 1 cheats better/has better gear they dominate. The number of people cheating doesn't really have any effect so long as there is a core number of people cheating, that's enough to change the game experience
