Yea well, get over it. There are bigger issues going on lol.
Hahaha, seriously?!
Don't run from the tree, just smack it one more time, it's almost dead.
yeah how they could name Hangman bush as a tree :)
could be annoying but not surprising anymore
Good job on blacking out your shortcuts, I was so into figuring out your playstyle secrets behind this amazing 29 lvl dorf
Less client modifications, and it will work better.

If you're talking about the text/font on his screen then that's got to do with the resolution he has set in his options.
I tried every one resolution in my client...none of them changed my fonts.
dude, I didn't modify anything, My screen Resolution is 1440/900
It looks like he changed his windows DPI settings
Ya its the dpi settings. Those are not found anywhere in the L2 settings, so the op has not modified anything.

Windows has this setting so you can change all font sizes for ppl with less than 20/20 vision.

Considering I've ran into this issue several times myself.

Your suggestion likely won't work.. at least it wouldn't for me.

Even attempting a skill will state your to far away/cannot see target.

This happens even if your a malee or a nuker.. worse if your a nuker.. because they seem to be able to hit you.. but you can't hit them.

I've even tried to AOE the buggers and sometimes you still can't kill them when they fall through the ground.
You need to go hit them again then Judas. Because even though they seem to be underground, they really arent, in fact, if you were to detarget the mob and then target it, the client would update its location and show it next to you.

The character in the picture should have no trouble at all hitting that mob, although skills might be hard to use, since he has no hotbar!

in fact no..

while fighting a mob and not kiting it at all.... midway through fighting it.. sometimes just falls through the floor.... I've noticed this most often after it uses a skill/spell or something.

Detargetting it and retargeting doesn't make it pop out of the ground in the rare cases. At which point it continues to beam you with whatever it uses while your stuck looking dumb running around trying to figure out how the hell to kill it when there isn't anything you can do.

I find this happens most often in the low levels... sub 52 areas..... to me it's like the spawn places for the mobs is a hair below the plane of the landscape.. which would explain why it remains on the surface temporarily....

And i can usually figure out which area seems to produce this issue if a mob spawns in that area.

I could get deeper into the whole mechanics of how or why this happens.... but what your referring to is netcode issues...

your suggesting that essentially the netcode... serverupdate and client side information aren't jiving... and in detargetting and retargeting forces the server/client to reupdate all location data for the target which is true. This happens VERY VERY OFTEN.......

Same thing with Hames Orc Overlords in the top of Blazing Swamp.

Thats alot of technobabble. I'm just stating how I've dealt with mobs acting like this, and it has so far worked every time. But if you know the locations, and the reason it happens, make a video that shows what happens...
as i stated.... it's not happened often enough to predict or reproduce.... and it's been about a year since i ran into the issue.

I've recorded tons of stuff in the past.. and even uploaded it... but unfortunately i haven't used fraps with lineage II for awhile..... then again i haven't played lineage II for almost 5 months so... meh..

I may.... doubtful.. but may run out to Dark Elves Swamp area where I've seen this happen initially.... it happens to the buffalo/bear like things outside of the orc village too.

Prior to the update it happened in antharas lair with those kariks or whatever the hell they are.. big red dudes that love to stomp on you. That was a mean scenario because the entire party was getting trashed by 1 of them that we couldn't kill.
I didn't even know what DPI was, I just went online and checked, it seem when I went to it my DPI was 125%

I put it to 100% but everything then looked really small and hard to read so I put it back to the Default 125%
Did anyone else notice? I know what character I'm logging in first.

Agree.
