as far as changes go? the game is coming up on 5 years...it's pretty much finished. all that really remains is for them to tie up the story by letting us unseal the gate at seal of shilen and kill her. oh...and completely safe enchant scrolls.
their original plan was to have servers decide their own fate, maybe this update will do that... but it's abit late with just 2 servers remaining :x
The servers DID decide their own fate. The top clans decided to get ahead lvl wise by using programs and then decided to kill any leftover competition by using even more programs in pvp and generally lording it over the rest of the server until most of those other players thought "why do I even pay for this" and left. Then we had server merges, and the same thing happened again, until we had more server merges.

It's not like it matters anymore. Most l2 community, or any game for this matter, will be moving on to the new MMOs appearing everywhere.
looks are very important. no way i'm playing anything ugly. for instance I have no interest in their "Giants" race. Nor the fat little pandas. But the cat girl dolls just scare me.
