and the rarest item I received was ONE BRES
There is a problem with this list. Notice the lack of s scrolls? Notice the plethora of b scrolls? The entire absence of blessed scrolls except for bsoe and bres (which arent among the prizes listed). The same goes for a gems/a cry and all codexes except mastery. The majority of large melons I opened were entirely empty, and some of the rain melons were empty as well. The most productive melon was the defective melon, often giving as many as 4-5 items at a time, including all of the stage 15s. If I was lucky they would have a qhp or solitary s gem in them. The only item that seemed to be correctly dropping from the large melons were the mastery codexes and that 84 top ls.
Either the drop list on the website is wrong or the ingame rates/drops are messed up. I suspect that the lone bres I got out of a large melon was suppose to be a blessed enchant scroll of some kind, but of course there is no way to actually prove that without ncsoft coming forward and saying so.
I'm not here to complain, just to share my result. Depending on how patient I am, I either break even or make a slight profit with all this misc junk which is fine with me. It's not like I'm stuck with a bunch of doomblader scrolls that can't even be npced like the last event. I was just wondering, are my results typical? Has anyone gotten a regular giant codex, or an s scroll/blessed enchant scroll? All grades of elixir were suppose to drop, but I got mostly a and a few s. What about you?
And if sace is reading this, are the drops wrong? Is the list wrong?
Popped about twenty. All I've got to show for it is A master Codex, handful of highgrade 67-76 stones, and some S crystal/gems.(And by some I mean very very few.)
If I hadn't gotten the codex I would have felt really screwed.
Killed about 25 melons, and I agree the defective ones seem to yield the best results. I have gotten 4 high/top 67/70 life stones (total), 2 eab's, 14 s crystals, and 8 s gems. Oh yeah and 1 bsoe. of the 4 large rain honey's ive killed, ive gotten a total of 2 s crystals, 4 ghp, and....1 nectar, thats right a large rain honey watermelon dropped 1 nectar.
Oh well, I see this as more of an added bonus, than something im going to make adena on. It breaks the monotony of grinding out xp. Anything I can get above and beyond the basics of the game is a win for me.
Popped 100, got 2 soul crystals, a bunch of elixirs, some B/A scrolls, etc. Pretty much junk, and yes it seems that the defective ones give the better rewards.
IMO, this event sucks. The worst in the 2+ years I have been playing.
Well, maybe I was just lucky but from 13 melons I got 2 masteries and lot of enchants/high/top ls which still made me some nice money so I am pretty much satisfied.
More than 160 watermelons opened and my best drops were 2 GC Mastery, 2 Red 15, 1 Green 15 and around 16-17 top grade lifestones.
The Large watermelons best reward was 1 top 84 LS , some gemstones and 3 BREZ's scrolls !!!
Oh i forgot to notice the bunch of the very useful EWA's, EWB's, EAA's and EAB's :D
My personal guess is that they actually ARE there. The event message could be wrong, as the CM tried to fit's it into the current gameplay we have.
Too bad the events drop list wasn't modified in time into the game, I'm guessing...

That's right everyone. The event is fine, drops are fine, the list is wrong and has been wrong for 2 weeks, just not enough time to change it! Sace apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused, someone just gave her the wrong info :(
Oh well! And we should also note, that this is the first event with enchant scrolls since the introduction of s grade where those scrolls aren't part of the event. Yeah, definitely as intended. We have s crystals, we have s life stones and S-SA stones, but no S-enchant scrolls because B-GRADE on the advent of goddess makes a whole lot of sense. Are you serious? That doesn't make any kind of sense.

I don't know how old this event is, but if it was copy/pasted from korea, it could be outdated. It could also be bad configured, if they can be. Nowadays I really doubt the far NC West can customize the tools Korea gives them.

No, I am going to be angry at you as well because you continue to parrot self propagated lies and propaganda. They do have the tools to change things. We have proof of this that is less than a month old when Sace stated that they specifically removed anakim scrolls and sealbooks from the last event due to customer complaints. If Sace comes here and says what you say, it is barely tolerable. It's part of her job, it's expected. But I will take offense when a fellow player tries to play it off as how it should be and is intended. That's completely wrong and you know it!
EVEN IF they are completely incapable of making their own events and only using old copy and pasted ones, there are plenty of other events that they could have turned on that DID have those prizes. The fact of the matter is that melon events have been running for over 5 years. Your excuse is extremely thin and a fellow player shouldn't be propagating it :|

Also, your angry going to me won't either do any good for you or any effect on me, so (again, in my humble opinion) it is just a waste of energy and words on one person that can't solve what made you angry.

As for what Sace wrote, can you quote that post for me? I might not have been playing by then or might have missed this post (I'm CURIOUS, not doubting you, for the record).
I also don't think of them as excuses. We both don't know the real situation of the company and what takes to do whatever they plan to. Also, we don't know how good or bad is their head management, we only see the right end product.

I started playing late with this event (late Sunday) and have about the same as Eva has (popped around 40-50 large melons).
No blessed scrolls, no S-grade scrolls.

Have to agree that the droplist does seem to be kinda messed up. Anyway, I made some good money and was (finally) able to buy AQ+4 ;)
List of rewards is for sure wrong and rewards are very weird if we call it interlude of GoD :D
EAB is excellent reward but hardly can find reason who/why want to use it nowadays. if DEAB (destruction) I could understand it .. ok even BEAB :)
BREZ what I got (event) for some reason don't want to stack with other event's BREZ .. same goes with BSOE

Ha ha ha! I get that Q in-game as well a lot (ICantC - my nooby BH I play now). I'm still on the urge to leave, but also afraid of what Innova might bring as well as NCWest will do here. I'm also extremely bored right now if I'm not playing on Naia, so killing time there (as well as letting the accounts expire)
Next Sunday I'll attend a siege at the Russian Innova servers and will see how the performance will be there. If as bad as on Naia at this moment, I might decide to stay after all.
...not to mention, I finally bought AQ yesterday ;)

Ah yes, I wanted to add this as well. A large rain melon gave me 1 gem S (no kidding), while all the SA's I've had came from defective melons (don't mind this defect ;))
