After saving up 144,000 PC points for a silly Black Feathered Mask, it turns out these items do not allow you to trade, sell, or drop them. Just a word of warning for others since the item description failed to mention this. QQ.
Edit: Like a fool, I cannot read yellow text. Ignore me.
Actually, the Event's Webpage says so... It's not yellow, it's white, but you were supposed to read it too, so even if the item doesn't tells you it isn't tradeable, no one would help you because you should've know...
Single-slot Head Accessory 96,000 Choose between Cat Ears or a Monocle. Not tradable.
Two-slot Head Accessory 144,000 Choose between a Blue Party Hat or a Black Feather Mask. Not tradable.
good to know.
i read that, but the description doesn't say it, so i figured that some items were tradeable.
i guess i can go spend my points on wyverns and buffs.
actually i might go take a screen shot from the top of aden castle.
Agathioms are interesting too, if you don't have one already...
That's what I'm going for... Buffs are kinda useless unless you are going into a soloing festival... And with such much PC Blessings and Cat Stars that they were giving, I got a hell of buff bottles...
After the Agathions and some mask, I shall ride the Wyvern to take a look into some incredible points, like and Top View of EV or Blazin Swamp...
the blue birthday hat is a rare item.
the cat ears, you can get easy with the right quest.
not sure about the black feathered hat, i've seen it before, just don't remember where from.
and the monocle can be crafted.
i think i have the mats, just need the rec.
sold my raccoon ears for 10 mil...
what a bargain.
that would be a surprise.
does flames of invincibility protect from fall damage?
Drop behind a wall where no one can see ya. Get your healer to Group Heal / Chain Heal / Balance Heal 3 to 4 times and you are done! Ready to Action! :D
i was actually wondering if that spot was high enough to be considered off siege grounds. would be pretty epic... get a gate chanter there, and keep coming back for more.
You can not fly over a castle during a seige with a wyvern, it will automatically kick you back to town as it is a no fly zone. Also, only a certain amount of wyverns can be used per server a time. The npc will tell you that the wyvern is being used and to come back in 2 minutes if the limit is reached. You use to be able to use summoners/wc to cast summon friend/gate while over a castle WAY above the no fly zone to airdrop parties in, but you can no longer cast that spell while flying. Furthermore, the event wyvern is a not a true wyvern, you can't use wyvern breath with it.
I have a really bad feeling about the tip of the castle under there...
Nice sky pic btw... AFAIK, everything above the Siege Ground is Combat zone... Isn't it forbidden to ride and Wyvern in Combat Grounds? I forgot whether it is or not... Nevermind, former poster answered it.

Seige ground extends fairly far up, you use to have to fly straight up for a few minutes before reaching the world ceiling.

If the spot is not in siege zone, you could put the CoG here, and wait and cog during the siege
i'm sure someone has tried it before...
if not, why not, i guess normally you would need a summoner to be leader, but leader can just use the clan summon from castle
we'd have to wait till another siege period to find out.
maybe i will bring an alt up here.
Hummmm get your allies to ride Wyverns during the Siege and BAN surprise the enemy from above!
Everyone down into the yard of the castle at once! O.o
all non defenders will be kicked when siege start (or when they log) if they inside of pvp zone. If you enter pvp zone on wyvern, it will be unsummoned and you will fall down.
Imho if you want try real wyvern - take fort with alt clan and welcome.
this has been done quite often already in the past but these days ppl owning a castle are fast on the /gm phone so be warned :P
Yeah, I think the top of some of those big, fat towers in Aden castle still don't count as siege zone. Don't do that though. It's bad sportsmanship. :)

I meant on top of the outer wall. There is something special with them.
Still remeber bug in Goddard when beeing stubborn you could walk into wall in town and when you were stuck type unstuck ...to be born in castle
But always best was flying (without dragon!) between dark elf and Mother tree land. Trick was climb mountain and then you could walk as long below you there were no lakes, mountains nor something similar that block your normal walk.
I remember it was mine dream to walk through mountains to Oren area, while passing Execution Ground was real challenge :p

To my knowledge, this anomaly still exists. I remember finding this way back in C1 looking for a quick way to get to Elven Village from DE Village. Was freaked to find it then...now, meh. There's also some bad geometry in Disciples as you swim down you end up on top of the geometry of the tunnel leading to the Necro's entrance. But as I was told in a petition from NCSoft directly, "L2 has no bugs". Um'Kay.
That is not what I meant either, and I have never heard of that one before.
The one I'm talking about is how only half of the outer wall is siege zone.
By being on top of the wall you can take a few steps back and mass res without a flag.
The outer wall is reachable by wyvern during non-siege, and since only half of the outer wall is siege zone, you can even summon ppl there during siege.
