Hello all, just wondering here. I had a trial account, to which I bought a CD key from Direct2Drive and applied to the trial account to make it a retail account. At the same time, I also had to enter my cc info to create my subscription to L2 for after my 30-day free-time expires from my CD key purchase. Question I have is, since I technically subscribed to the game, but have not yet been charged for said time, am I eligible for the subscription event gifts?
Don't think you are eligible unless you actually buy time. You can obviously open a support ticket with billing but to be honest I doubt you will hear back from them before the event period ends.
What you have done is authorized NCWest to charge your credit card for your monthly fee once your free time included with the game purchase ends. The event requires you to actually buy game time before Oct 31st

You do not to be charged for that subscription time to get the gift events. However, if you subscribed not through the promotion banner, your subscription may not count.
Go to your plaync account, select your game account, click on the promotion banner and resubscribe. Do it today.
If there is no promotion banner, cancel your subscription in your game account on the plaync site and see if it appears. If it still doesn't appear, resubscribe and petition.
I go to my account page and I do not have a banner for the promotion where I see my game account info that lets me see my current subscription date/renewal date etc.
