What happens to the people that currently have multiple paid accounts? How many accounts will people be able to run in the new free system? Are there no limits?
Because other regions, like innova, put a limit on the amount of accounts you can play at once. This is a valid question that should be easily verifiable.

Innova does that to force you to buy a premium account. Since NCWest won't have premium accounts to sell you then there is no reason to restrict it
maybe additional account slots will be sold in the l2 store? Im for not jumping to conclusions. Up to this point everyone was certain a premium membership was in the works to pair with the f2p model and that was not the case. It is kinda ignorant to think that ncw would allow ppl to create an unlimited number of accounts. perhaps people with several accounts will be "grandfathered" in and any new rules for limited number of accounts will not pertain to them unless they try to add more than they already have? anyone know how NC handles this problem with COH? maybe the same solution will apply here...idk lets wait and see.
haven't heard of such restriction in Korea so imo no as that's the model we get..
There is a similar restriction in Korea: there are "free" accounts that are playable only from Internet cafes, no more than one per computer, and there are "non-free" accounts that are playable from anywhere, and don't have the restriction of one-per-computer in Internet cafes.
yeah MaoMao being all ... MaoMao. So nothing's new ^^
Except that he's right on that particular topic. F2Ps forbid to use multiple accounts because it's more server charge but not more income. If you pay them more to use multiple accounts, they accept it. That's also why P2Ps have closed their eyes on multi-accounts since day one, despise the absolute absurdity of the concept.
No words from NC yet?? Not even just "we have not finalized the details on multiple subscriptions (accounts), but we will let you know when we do"...?? o.O
Hey everyone! Back with more of your L2 Truly Free questions answered. :)
Will NCWest Lineage II be closed to new Euro players?
No, players from any region can create new accounts on either Innova or NCWest services. There are, however, no plans to offer account transfers between NCWest and Innova.
Why is Naia planning on being hosted in the US? How will this effect European players?
As Innova is the new official service provider in Europe, the NCWest EU server, Naia, is being relocated to the US to maintain the health of its community. This was determined to be the best option for the server and its players after evaluating other options that may have broken up Naiaâs community. Currently both of our servers have a healthy mix of players from the US, Europe, and elsewhere. Therefore we do not expect a negative impact on European players accessing Naia in its US location.
What happens to the people that have multiple accounts?
At launch, users with multiple game accounts will not see any change other than their accounts being converted to the new free business model.
Are there restrictions to the amount of accounts a person can play at the same time?
There are no restrictions and there are currently no plans to change this. However weâd like to add that, with the major improvements to the game in Goddess of Destruction, we do not believe it will be necessary to multi-box in order to level up fast and have an enjoyable gameplay experience. There are no plans to offer character transfers between game accounts.
As more questions are collected and answered I will be posting them here for your viewing pleasure.
Since you already read it somewhere it's not hard for you to quote it, but anywayz thanks for quoting it. If that is an attitude to you from your type of response, ok then... I guess next time if you ask me for any reliable L2 info source for stuff you are looking for; I'll just tell you to search the net, as it only takes a few seconds :)
Double I think, Elmar could help us with some equation about Won =)
If your a casual player paying the Korean way is alot ALOT cheaper, But if your a hardcore player then it will cost you way more then paying 15$ a month for unlimited access. So really only the casual player coming out winning on the Korean model
