my clannies have analyzed it and conclude that PTS will open sometime in Nov and since it will be live in "the darkest days of autumn", and Dec. 20 is the last day of autumn with Dec. 21 being the darkest day of the year (winter solstice), they think that it will go live Dec 20. sounds pretty good to me !
"Darkest days of autumn" makes it a little more fuzzy than specifically saying "the darkest day" so it could simply indicate anytime "close" to the end of autumn. Never want to be too precise about what you are promising after all. I would say any time in Dec before 21 Dec would fit the description. Also since heroes are turned off on the 1st anytime after that becomes possible. It is a big update so they could push it out anytime they deemed best but I would still think that it is most likely to land on a maintainence day if only to give themselves a few days before the weekend when a prolonged downtime would hurt the most. The 7th, 14th and 21st are all therefore likely. I will put my money on the 7th however simply because it competing with SWTOR's release on the 20th doesn't seem wise even if this will be a F2P game. If they put God on the test server after the event ends on 9 Nov then it will still have a solid 4 weeks even if go live is on 7 Dec.
So that is my guess. 9 Nov - Test server, 7 Dec - intended go live.
And hopefully we get just one more double exp weekend somewhere in the middle of that.
You know, you're probably right Shay. Since the 9th is when all the events stop and they did say they would be "continuing the fun" or something along those lines in November and we havent got any new events yet.
