The Halloween Surprise (watermelon) event ends. All nectar and seeds, and the event NPC, will be removed from the game. All rewards players have acquired from the event remain in the game. Please note that a mail containing nectar or seeds will be deleted if the mail is in-progress during maintenance.
The Loyalty Subscription Gifts for players that signed up in the past week, and the last set of Thank You Gifts will be inserted into the warehouse of the highest-level character per server per account. (Please note that the character level is affected by subclasses: whichever character has the highest level, regardless of what class it's on, at midnight GMT/UTC will get the items.) The Thank You Letters will be sent to players' mailboxes.
The Devotee Rewards will be distributed to all characters that logged 20 and 30 hours of playtime in the last week. This coming week from November 2 to November 9 is the last Devotee Rewards week: log 20 and 30 hours per character total over the next week and partake of the last Devotee Rewards insertion on November 9. Check the event for page for exact start and end times.
All characters' vitality will be refilled. A vitality refill will happen with every regular weekly maintenance.

re: bolded font - Will any items (sans seeds) be returned to the sender, or will everything in the ether just vanish?
How about the Rim Kama and essences? Do we have to turn the essences in before maintenance?
Do we have to open any of the packs/boxes/chests before maintenance to keep them from going away?
Can we still turn our minion tickets into minions after maintenance?

None of these events are ending this week, only the Watermelon event.
The entire letter with all attached items will disappear/be deleted. (If a player, say, mailed their alt a letter with seeds and other items attached—no matter what those items are—if the mail is still in transit/someones inbox/outbox during the maintenance, the whole letter will be deleted with all the items in it; they’d lose the other items as well as the event items.) This does not happen often at all, but it’s a precaution.

Doesnt make sense like that. And also Sace always gave in topic title the date when maint was happening, not the date she announced them at :p I miss Sace :(
