Well i am kinda new to l2, i mean i played for a while, planing to start again now... but i cant understand this thing about servers... i read posts here on forum for hours and i dont get it...:
Will there be new servers after god update?
And i dont understand thing about that Innova? what is that? (sry if this question is stupid ^^)
And there will be NCSOFT West servers and Rusian Servers?
from what i understand, there will still remain two servers for us.
but Innova will also have an official server.
both will be free to play.
but the NCcoin system will differ...
now, this is not finalized information.
and in the end both could be exactly the same, just hosted in different locations.
but the new servers will start from scratch.
transfers are not absolute at this time.
(most likely no transfers at least until average population is 85)
There will be new servers in NCSOFT West? Or just in INNOVA?
"(most likely no transfers at least until average population is 85)" - that is ok :D
Dual box will be allowed now when game is f2p? :o
Innova is a Russian based retailer of l2. They have a popular model in their region and are going to handle European lineage 2 service locally. Separate from ncwest. Ncwest will maintain their naia server will siege and event times staying on eu time but are transporting the physical location of the server to the states.
I think the coin system will be very similar differing only in currency values. For sure our store will be less stocked because ncw wants to play that by ear. It has been stated that new na servers will be available after god launch to accomodate the large influx of.new players. Innova ( this has been.stated many times already) is a different company altogether and there will.be no server transfers between na and innova. Between our new servers in NA is another question. Nothing (LAST I check) has been said of a change in dual boxing other than the changes coming with GOD will allow players to Lvl at an unheard of rate and grant other abilities (like crafting) to all races. Kinda eliminating the.need.for.multiboxing. we will still.be able to have multiple accounts if we so.choose.
