and hello to all the people that knew me from a longtime ago.
I read a lot of other posts and still couldnt find anything about any new NA servers..
as old players stopped or lost our chars for many different reasons. We really fell behind because of this. As this update goes live I would love to start on a new server.. I also know from many other people the idea of this would be great. I think people should have a choice to play where people are already maxed out since freya or start new.

A: Yes. When Goddess of Destruction launches, current players will remain on their current servers. Additional servers will be added to accommodate the influx of new players and returning former players. After launch, if you decide to resettle your character to another server, you will be able to purchase a character transfer.
To me this tells me there will be.. but others tell me its only for the new Innova servers
okay so how will that work as GoD goes live there wont be new servers until the others are filled and add new servers manually as they fill up?
that sounds like it wouldnt work tho.. I would have to wait with the 120 people that wanna play with a fresh start. and wait till the other servers fll up.
bahh! couple weeks thats gonna kill the 120 clannies I have waiting with me lol.. bad enough I get text messages/emails and so on... everyday asking when is it launching lol.

I have a hunch that it might be similar to open beta release back in 2004. (If anyone remembers way back then) They started the game with a total of Three servers which all got immediately overfilled and disconnects and issues with login happened. Cries from the players for a couple weeks before they created three more servers.
That is, except this time they might open one or two more servers at launch (if that) and realize that enough returning old players, many new players from private servers, and farming/spamming bots will create a similar problem. They will open a few more servers, and they will fill up, but when the fresh feeling subsides, the servers will die down once again and server merges will happen.
let them first focus on releasing PTS before asking for more servers...
True, but it's also a good sign that people are popping up to ask about the new servers. I get the feeling that a good chunk of the private server population is about to migrate to retail. Besides, while I hope the existing servers get a boost to population, I still would like to have a new server or two rdy to go on the day GOD goes live. Having to spam the login server would make me an unhappy camper lol.

I don't see the answer to that question using the search feature... can I pre-order the destiny pack for the new server in order to get the pre-order promotion bonus?
There is like 5 active forum threads discussing this VERY topic being constantly updated right now. In Short. There is no official stand on any of that, besides, eventually, maybe and eventually.
I think this is 5 Reasons why 99% of new EURO players will join INNOVA
1.Ofcourse NCWest give chance for server transfer so 7 years OLD nabs with Full Levels Full Gear will Rulle new players.
2.This server is very very old and we all know how much BOTTS was here before and First what i think you cant imagine how much BILLIONS or maybe TRILIONS ADENA BOTS Farmed here for 7 years.... And now this people will transfer on new server and they will laughing on new poor players and Eat them in PVP.
3.Some Kids here say transfer will be allowed after 6 mounts or later when new players get lvl UP and will be same like old players THATS LOL HAHA...
HOW CAN BE SAME OLD PLAYERS WHO BOT FOR 7 YEARS AND FARM 0-24 BOTS WAS EVERYWHERE AND THEY FARMER BILLION AND BILLION ADENAS WHEN THEY TRANSFER IT THEY BUY R GRADES +16 / BOSS JEWELS / AND ALL ITEMS MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN NEW PLAYERS....

Please tell me does this right im write and it is fair or unfair that we can have 1 new fresh server without any transfer with old players...

Yes, i know you tried to find an answer to your question, as i've already said, the whole world's waiting for an announcement from NCsoft regarding new servers and transfers. No one knows what will happen. That's why you didn't find any answer :)
Did you thought that NCsoft might view all the topics and replies here and create a feedback to discuss it to their offices?
Indeed we're all waiting for an official answer, there was a comment made by NCWest on twitter there will be additional servers, but I still want an official answer here on the forums :D

Also if they add a window like they did with previous new server they opened, it won't be as bad. I think the last new server they had a 6 month window to where transfers weren't allowed?

I'm OK with the 6 months thing, and I don't have a character on any server. I've played L2 for a while now, but even I know in 6 months you can make a ****load of progress. Enough to where yes, you can actually compete.
Get over yourself. The question is more-or-less whether or not they'll have the 6 month delay, and not if they'll prevent transfers. They've said they WILL allow transfers, but they haven't specified if there'll be a grace-period. If there's no grace-period, I won't be playing. Nor will my friends. Nor will most of the people from MMORPG.com who're interested in coming back. If they put in the 6 month period, everyone will pretty much settle with it.
NC didnt care bout many palyers they were losing in the past years, what make you think they start to care right now? :D
Well, shiit, Lucie. I don't know. Could it be the fact that they've upped their GM presence on the forums/twitter, the fact that they've revamped the entire website, the fact that they're trying to advertise the game going F2P (which is working), the fact that they're clearly spending a ****load of time on this unlike previous patches and give a general feel of wanting to bring this **** back, or all of the above?

Having a new server come up would be amazing! As i have played before but would leave again if the 2 servers are being dominated by max lvl players with the best gear. A Fresh start on a new server is much needed for the enjoyment of new players and some old players looking for a new start
Seems people just don't get it! If Ncsoft announced a while back that there will be new servers, then the current ones will more likely had no new players ( or at least not many ) . They are protecting their Naia and Chronos for a "disaster" and the players who have been playing on those servers since .. many years, will go a bit crazy if the servers will turn out in ghost towns. Not saying if there will be a new server or not, have encourage new players to play on the current servers to fill it up a little bit more.
Think if they announced that new servers will come once GoD release. Around 50% of the current population will "hold" playing and waiting for the new server(s) .
All in all , NcSoft will open new servers! I bet they will go for 2 or 3 ! They will announce new server(s) on the 28 or 29 !
