Need a gm that can log in and ban these spammers regularly, porting from town to town to catch them.
Petitioning does no good they just want you to list all the names of the spammers but there are too many, sorry don't want to work that hard it's not my job :p
My concern is that while nc allows these spammers to run rampant, the noobs that are joining at a good pace may not be aware that buying adena is against the rules and can get them banned :/ With the spammers running 7/24 it would be natural for noobs to think this is sanctioned by ncsoft...
The other problem is these adena sellers obviously have to have large numbers of bots to generate the adena they sell so if they are allowed to spam their site, they are encouraged to run massive bots, which when we go f2p will be a big enough problem. ><

prepare for f2p....on ruoff u cannot see chat in big towns cuz of adena spam...is 10lines per second
Well with it getting closer to GoD seems they are spamming more lol, Im kinda suprised they havnt enter a chat filter with anything .com in it or like if the to b u y g o l d or something like that with spaces in blocked by the chat filter like they haev done to AION
that might be where it has to stay too. i'm on the cusp of getting a 2nd job, too. it involves a lot of travelling on fridays and saturdays, and going to tradeshows so i will be posting from hotels soon.
theres a Hammer icon in your chat window, its small, and near the scrolling up/down arrows. click it to bring up chat options; in the 2nd tab you can enable a separate window to show system messages, and your damage, to filter it away from your chat screen. you can also checkmark the box to disable the viewing of NPC chats (from Olympiad manager, or those preachers of doom).
all you have to do is block the spammer,you don't have to turn anything off. The chat won't show if they blocked. And it's not bots they get the money from it's players selling TO the website. They have suppliers.
well u have to get used of adena spam...they cannot rly stop ppl to make trial accounts and to spam.....on f2p will be even worst

This is not NCI lack of work, but just an impossible task to perform.
The only thing that could be done with some effect is closing the websites, but I don't think they can and, with F2P, they won't be able to stop anyone trying to do this.
The spam bot I reported was banned, but many arrived and I don't want to petition every random string names like 'cjcjajejrjajhdy"
I work my *** off to make a nice xgrade eqp, then I power lvl, and then? Im stuck with a nasty armor that I worked quite hard to get.

All good equip come from quests. equip can only be used by player that earned it through quest.

On Raid Boss it would be instant just yous clan in play. Leader decides who get drop.
But true. Adena can buy stuff then put up with Sellers. they say lots of players make living from sell. NC say Billion dollar business.

In instant it is not easy to program bot for nice reward. Think of great quest for level 80+ with guards and stuff. No bots there. TT Jewels have high level run around in bot. Stupid silly bot. Sho no smart.
I suggest way to make game bot free. No reason for NC to support Bot now. They do not make money from accounts. Other way is for NC to sell Adena. But people say I no play never ever but people buy Adena from RTM Companies all time so i don't see the why not. If NC did that then they would have no bots cause it cost them mony for servers and up keep.
All RMT would leave with all others. LOL maybee no left one.
