Played L2 for almost 4 years and have never thought of it until I saw the message yesterday....
What the heck is the "Official L2 Launcher?"
I though that there was only 1 Launcher that you get when you install the game but this makes me second guess myself.......
Well its the launcher you are talking about , Lineage2.exe witch its installed with the game and there's the NC launcher witch its like an universal launcher for NC games , like Aion. I played Aion and i know that launcher from there :P
Download now 'cos after 30th, old launcher won't work anymore. ;)
Old launcher won t work tomorrow already ;)

As of today, the NCsoft Launcher now fully supports Lineage II and all updates applied to the game. The download speeds are significantly faster than through the Lineage II Updater. With this change, the Lineage II updater will be retired on November 23, 2011. Please begin using the NCsoft Launcher moving forward. The NCsoft Launcher can be downloaded here."
