Hello guys, I'm an old player of Lineage 2 (Well, I don't play L2 a long time ago), but now, with this new patch and the possibility of a new server with all players with the same base level, me and some friends are very excited about to start to play again this great game.
But now I know we have 7 players for party, it's right?
So, what is the best party to do some Raid Bosses I can mount today (to GoD)? One party with 4 destroyers/titans still the best choice for raids or we can mix with mages, destroyer, archers and still do the raids?
I know that any party must have at least one tank, one healer and one buffer, but what's the best for raids/pvp and fun?
Sorry my bad english and the wall of text, but i need to know about this to discuss what class each one of my friends will play. Thanks to all, and we meet in Battlefield!
Usually I hate it when GM tell me that it's part of the game for players to figure out things by themselves, especially when it's a glitch/bug/exploit....etc.
In this case though, it applies 100%.... there are no real "cookie cutter" parties, especially in GoD, you have to figure out what works best for you and your friends...
e.g. you can try to kite the boss and have no tank, it's risky, but sometimes it's doable. Or you can have a tank taking all the damage while everyone else concentrates on attacking.
It's more about how you have fun with your friends what what you have instead of having friends for fun... if you get what I mean...
on russian pts we were running for fun in GC with awakened tank, archer and enchanter. it was enough to kill gorgolos and utenus i think. we were wearing low R grade armors and using R grade weapons.
my guess 7 awakened ppl party which has tank, enchanter, healer and any kind of DD will be able to kill all previous open field raidboses.
not sure about instances like frinteza or zaken, but those will become outdated and not usable soon as players lvl will go up
Killed the RB at upper and the one in the middle of GC a few times already, just with SE+BD. Just had to spend some time ^^
(And 1 time Wartag let me watch the ground while doing the middle RB, not looking at the mob and tried to kill it to save my boxes, which was nice from him. Luckily Daggers have hide to run away. He was pretty shocked that it wasn't a normal GC mob, gf Reddie ;) )

P.S. our 3 man team failed epicly on LoA RB :D
can solo the raids on my TH already with cov/bd out of pt so ye no doubt u could kill them lol
I would like to thanks all of you guys for the information. I play Lineage in C4, so many classes can't really help in bosses (Archers, Rogues, Gladiators, Tyrant, etc). The party was basicaly formed by tank, healer, buffer and mages or Destroyers.
I feel much better now that you guys told me about parties with Archers and Warriors doing RB's. For sure we'll have great fun with this game, that we love. Thank you again and seeya.
