Why is my patch so big

So I downloaded the High Five client and the new ncupdater. Obviously the game needed to be updated but 11gb? That's the entire client. Is something wrong here?

mb it didint find installation of current l2, i had my l2 installed properly, w/o copy-paste so it found folder automaticly and update was few mb.
My patch was also about 11 GB big , but the updater saw the client as being corectly installed , so i don't know why it updated it with 11gb.

After the updated was applied , i saw no strange used space in HDD , the client was still 10.something GB and not 20+++ gb.
this summer we had big update after maintenance, ~1gb or so.. but 11gb.. lol
At first it was the same for me regarding the size of the package, I was worried it is to big in comparison to the other.
But after a while I’ve learned how to work with it and use it so that everyone can benefit from it.

Right now I know how to enjoy life and the big size of my package isn’t a problem anymore.

I really hope you will find your way as well and learn to live with it.

Oh wait, wrong forum…my bad.
it has long been known that the NClauncher will re-download the ENTIRE game if even 1 file in the install folder is changed, cut or pasted into or out of the folders.

yes it recognises your install folder, but it then proceeds to overwrite the entire folder with fresh files.

for no good reason.

this is why it has been out of use. you never hear of it on these forums because people who played other NC games knew better than to use NClauncher.
