For the game accounts and servers, all Lineage II game accounts (including trials and inactives) have been converted to Truly Free (http://truly-free.lineage2.com/) accounts!
The Lineage II website (http://www.lineage2.com/en/) has been entirely redone! Enjoy the new look and feel, and contemporary site design! And, as all Truly Free accounts had their remaining game time converted to NCoin, you can now go spend your NCoin in our brand new web store, the L2 Galleria (http://store.lineage2.com/store/index)! The ability to acquire NCoin through the use of serial codes will be implemented by Monday Nov 28th just in time by Cyber-Monday. Until then, NCoin may still be purchased directly using a credit card or similar method. You can also read the whole Goddess of Destruction patch notes (http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/patch-notes/goddess-of-destruction/awakening/) on the new site. More content will be added to the Library (http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/the-library/) as time goes on. As the new website uses modern coding and styling, it is now infinitely easier to add new content and update existing content. On the forums, a new background image that reflects the Goddess of Destruction update, launching in one week from today! With today's change to Truly Free accounts we can also expect an influx of new and returning players to join to the forums in the weeks to come.

I'm a little disappointed that the buff cocktail and vitality maintaining potions only last for 30 minutes. Should be an hour imo. Not a big fan of free enchant scrolls or unseal scrolls or hat buffs either, but everything else looks good.
Weapon Seal Scroll: Visit a Blacksmith in any town and use this scroll to unbind a R-Grade weapon, allowing you to trade the weapon with other players. Converts the weapon into Unidentified status.
The new website looks fantastic; its obvious a lot of work was put into it. I can't believe all of you were up this late doing stuff - you posted at 9:03pm HAWAI'I STANDARD TIME. While I can only hope you're PST, that's still after midnight, and the time only gets worse the further east you are @_@
I've had to pull all-nighters for work before, but geez, I didn't have to do heavy-thinking computer/database work! Hope all of you got some overtime and management bought you dinner at the very least!
Oh, one thing: in the Galleria for the Discovery packs? I noticed the various Shots are S-Grade. So, if this is accurate (emphasis added): http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/the-library/items/index.php
There are different shots for different item grades. A weapon can only use shots for its grade. You may purchase shots from a vendor NPC or obtain them through crafting.
I would strongly recommend putting some sort of disclaimer on the descriptions of the packs, such as:
The Discovery Pack contains a variety of helpful items for casual players exploring Lineage II at a relaxed pace. This pack includes support items and special bonuses to aid players in their adventures. For characters levels 76-84.
I can't tell you how many customers I get a week who do not read the simple instructions on how to submit data to me, even though its in plain print on the same form they give me. Since the grades aren't obvious to new players and are discussed on a different page of the website, it might be worth doing. As is, a new player might think S-grade means "Wow! Its really good!" and buy it, but be unable to use it for quite some time. Heading this off might well save some time and energy for the customer service team.
Patch notes translation done with bad quality. For example MM replace raging waves for death lord skill but Feo Wizard dont have this skill. So same skill have 2 different translation (done by 2 different ppl?) in same document.
A beautiful site shows that we have a great game, The Game Face begins apart from a site well done. And now the new Lineage 2 site is Excellent good job NCsoft.
Maybe i am mistaken, I see in the list of classes and races, that WARRIORS had no detail for Orcs... It says Orc Warriors, and there is the Dark Fighters classes.
The same when you go direct to the ORC section...

and don't forget to copy out any goddess info you want to keep from this forum. They usually delete the whole section soon after an update goes live :(
In my opinion, Sace or anyone, archive it like you did the old server forums. There is a ton of good info in the goddess section that we will need to refer to for a long time I think :)
Personally, I'd just as soon see a player-run wiki. Paragonwiki, for instance, is superb. The players have the time, numbers and insight into what players want/need to make a great wiki ^_^

Any player-added content to a wikipedia would need to be checked and verified by NCsoft staff, which would require more man-hours (i.e. more money) than if they did the job themselves right away. The expression "PowerWiki" is misleading. In Korea this thing is called "Powerbook" (파워북), it is not a wikipedia but a database with linked entries.

Apart from the weapon data (Crystal Count, P.Atk. etc.) you have information about how to put that dual weapon together, what SAs at what Gemstone cost are available, and above all, at the bottom you have a discussion thread where players can ask questions about that item. The thick green separation line makes it clear what is official information and what is player contribution, but since, unlike in the Korean Powerbook, the comments are always visible and don't require any clicking around to see them, it is made unequivocally clear that nothing is true and any information should be taken with a grain of salt :D

Paragon Wiki is an excellent, player-run wiki that even Paragon Studios uses as a reference from time to time. It is not hosted by Paragon/NCSoft, runs on a donation basis, is not checked by the devs, etc. Now, it might well be an anomaly (ie, much better than "normal"), but hey, its what I'm used to.
After trying place orders for items,i can say the way it is done is too complicated atleast for people that english isnt their mother langauge.
To select an item to buy site asks you to log into 2 different ways(game account first,then master account),redirects you into your master account details to charge nc coins but you CANT see how many nc coins you allready have,filling credit card infos and choosing the coin packets 1 by 1,then you need to go back to the site where the item you want to buy is,without been sure you are on the right account you want to place the order and with the possibility to put the order into wrong server since you cant choose server by ticking on something.It's too much.After making mistake yesterday in my first order i didnt complete other order today simply because i didnt know in which account i was on site!
I did made a support ticket for my wrong order and a special post in forum,but Sace maybe you see this first,other people from clan missclicked and their order propably went on wrong server,or they arent sure if their order worked.
Could you make some changes so
-to buy something we need first to log 1 time only(with master account) and stay logged unless we choose to log out
-see on master account details how many coins we have
-put buy nc coins next to buy item,so the site isnt redirect us and confuse us.
-choose server to place order by ticking on a server
-give the ability to preview order before the final BUY button

As some peoples told before me too, some options and the database still not completed, but I guess you will improve it in the future for sure.
I keep to excellent work also the Item shop too, it is a really fair service and also the prices are ok too.
Also was nice to see, that today night under the sieges (at European time), the Naia and the Chronos servers had Heavy traffic too.
Since, the news released about the European official servers I was almost sure, that I will go to play there, but now I really confused.
You made a great service, my characters are here who with I played here almost 5 years, also many of my friends plan to stay at here.
I can only say one thing what is negative thing in my eyes. I'm really not happy, that the location of Naia server was changed. One reason that I have bigger lagg what I can feel, the second reason is, that if a server is European, than I think it's place have to be in Europe and nowhere else. So, if until the release the Innova servers we can see a news, that the Naia will be localized back to Europe, I will totally happy and currently I can say, that close to sure, that I stay on the Naia server.
But if not will be really hard to change, that where would be the better play.

If we create a player-content wiki in the future, we'll be happy to have your participation there.
