not trying to be funny but serious:
if you play long enough u will get used to it.
But if you absolutely have to play on Naia, I will suggest you try out BattlePing, Lowerping. Battleping is officially approved by Sace (L2 community manager)

and i enjoy these games. being here with 1 second delay is awfull
battleping i have heard many good storys about it
i guess wait for new innova and check that1 if its fun to play i might go there.. if not i check battleping :/

Comming from Lionna I knew what's gonna wait for me once they move Naia to the US.
What can I say ... 0,5-1s delays might be "okay" in PvE (although it's still annoying as hell) but kinda makes you useless for PvP especially when playing healer or dagger classes for example.
Going to give Battleping a try ... what server do you guys choose there btw?

being a bishop where 1 second can be factor of wining a pvp or lose...

Can anyone tell me what server I have to choose in Battleping? Does it have to be located where the actual game server is located or where I am located?
I logged, pretty insane ping, 1+ second response. Im a cardinal FFS.
I downloaded battle ping and logged in, choosed East Coast (closer to EU then west, and Texas is in the middle).
Started the game, tried to play again. Healing, buffing, running around clicking like Cardinal on speed.
Then I say to myself: OMG THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!!1!11
Buying battleping time 3 minutes later.

how much does battleping cost each month/week ?
we are in EU and NATO ;D, we have pretiest women in EU (aproved by EU men long time ago), cheap alcohol and basketball team which is frequent guest in top3 among winners of world/eu championships. For everything else google it yourself :D
stop paying for programs scrubs. download leatrix latency fix. free and way better that battleping. its in wow forums but usefull to any game
Tested just now. Improvement is minimal, absolutely not comparable to batle ping.
Leatrix Latency Fix will reduce your online gaming latency significantly by increasing the frequency of TCP acknowledgements sent to the server.
This is just a setting in your system, nothing else. Cant help much.
Ncsoft has to take care of lag issue,or it would become an issue!
I was crossing Aden with breaks today and in soa i died 3 times because mob came near me and nuke me while i was on dead-timezone(aka lag moment).
Erm you must be new to MMO........ there what we have as server lag and the player lag server lag is when the WHOLE SERVER not a small handful lags. Player lag is when a small handful of players lag. That is due to Internet Provider being **** or having connection issues or your location and the rout your provider is sent to be connected to the gaming server.'
So again NcSoft can not fix your lag issue unless its a server wide issue not bc of your location only why fo that is to move the server back to EU which wont happen since they dont have the licences to host there
1 sec doesnt truly make a huge deal but hey guess if it bugs you that much

I have no major problems with latency and Naia was not lagging at all when I was playing last 2 days at different hours. My ping went up maybe by 20-30 points, but it's not game breaking. You guys should check how long it takes for data packs to go to your router/modem and to the closest server :p Sometimes bad router set up or old weary cables can be the problem and you won't notice it till you will have to connect to server that is far away. It's not good if you are getting 80 ping to your neighborhood :o
Consider also that you may not have best routing to Naia and then it's only the internet provider fault. When using battle ping you pay for routing service that will avoid all "bad" servers and will deliver your data packs the fastest way.

Oh, thanks for the tip. 150-230 ms >< (had 15ms when it was displayed on server list).
Problem is how to get the ping with battle ping on ? (it say 0 on the network monitor because of the proxy).

I suggest West Coast cluster of servers or Texas/Aion
If you choose Texas/Aion then under "GameConnection", you need to choose the first option with "Lineage 2" in it (There are 2 options contain connection to Lineage 2)
