Movement

I played Lineage 2 a LOOOOOONG time ago,and was thinking about trying it again when it goes f2p. My question is, is click to move the only option or will WASD be introduced.

No changes to WSAD, W & D still works like rotate instead strafe.

WASD is horrible for moving and MMOs, in none of the many MMOs I've played has it worked

Yes there's only click to move, I would like to use the mouse but it's not an option

YOU CAN MOVE WITH WSAD IN L2! You have check the box *Enter to chat* in options and then it is enabled. Still it does not work like in other games, it's really bad and I advise not to use it.

the problem with WASD movement...
too many things to do.
although having A/D as strafing would be nice, you could get behind targets beter.
click to move is just more efficient.

Personal opinions are the new fact...

I played L2 when it first came out about 6 years ago and I don't remember there being an issue with the controls.

Now I can't invert the y-axis and I can't use the mouse to move like I can in many other MMO's.

So... this will be another person who likely won't be playing due to the programmer's laziness.

And since opinion is the new fact, point and click is terrible for movement in any game it is used in :)
