Yes, but I did not behave as a child and wrote in English:)

It has nothing to do really with the fact of being a newcomer or not -- it's just the general influx of people seem more childish or something of that nature. I can't really put my finger on it -- but something is off.

I understand some people don't use search and what not -- and even those that do may use the wrong keywords to find something, which just comes with experience. But there is a bit more impatience it seems and a lot of topics of the same subject and not to mention there seems to be a lot more trolling / flame baiting, and further more a lot more misinformation.

I don't know -- honestly, like I said I can't figure it out. I think it's largely a bunch of little changes that are clearly showing in a synergistic manner. But definitely I agree the forum quality has decreased.

Edit: Used "not to mention" more than once.

Also -- I concur with Harny below. I have no problem with new comers, and in fact I've helped several as of yet lately -- and I personally enjoy it. It just feels like there is a complete shift in social behavior.

Im also writing in english(the best that I can Im from Greece), And I dont believe Im behaving like a child.
Plus You should be happy for the newcomers, that means that the game will be around for more time.

Some ppl that joined this forum recently are talking to us via Google Translate and cry that they want to play alone on separate server without the influence of old players.

In other topic they were even scarring us that they will move 100 men alliance and crush everyone on the server :rolleyes:

I am happy for the newcomers. But there is a huge influx of childish people and players used to behave differently because they mostly come from privates.
Im not speaking about new comers in general. I like helping newbies sometimes.
Just try to check out forums of private servers and you will see what kind of behaviour Im talking about.

Well Personaly I have never playd l2 before (official or private)can you guys suggest me where should I start? Old servers or the new one on Nov 30.

Deppends what kind of fun are you searching for. I would suggest old one but start on Nov 30th because of Path to Awakening.

On new server you are on your own. On old server you can count on some sort of help.

As a newcomer myself, I find it off-putting whenever I see community members act in such a negative way towards us. Yes, I know you said you're mainly targeting "childish" members but it gives me a negative feel about the community when I just got here last night.
