I played back in like 2004 and wanted to give L2 another try for nostalgia sakes. I played a gladiator and a planeswalker. I have no clue what the new names for all the classes >.< sorry. Also if any of these questions have been asked I simply don't have the time to do a ton of looking around for answers. I appreciate the sentiment of "search the forums" but you can also just answer :D

I have a few questions. Im sure alot has changed since 2004 but the GoD update is definitely the biggest change since then.

1. What happens to classes like the gladiator in GoD after rebirth. Do they retain their unique game play mechanics such as the dual wielding/charges/combos and stuff. Looking at the patch notes it seems like they are dumbing down all the classes which kind of makes me not want to play as much

2. How is the PvP in the game currently. When I last played the PvP was pretty much aden siege/olympiad sometimes and mostly just arena. Seems like there is now some sort of clan wars and forts or something?

3. Ive read that there is still alot of botters and even worse people cheating in pvp alot with scripts/bots. Is this going to be something to watch for in GoD?

4. Is it still pretty much required to box a prophet and healer? even more so now that everyone can do it for free?
1.Gladiator will awaken into Tyrr Warrior at lv85. It will be a mix of all the current warrior classes, with masteries for Duals/Poles/Fists/Swords/Blunts. You will have to trade all old skills for new ones.

2.To be part of the PvP that happens during sieges/forts you will have to lvl up. You can still pvp players over hunting spots :D

3.You will have to really look to find pve bots. The new problem are scripts for targeting in pvp.

4.Till lv75 you get newbie buffs, after that you are on your own and have to find party with a buffer or buy buff potions.
