Trying to get a feel as to what the population will be like. Obviously based on prior threads there have been over 25k downloads of the L2 Client this week. The cap on Chronos is 6k players. I am seriously considering starting up on the new server with the new players. "A fresh start" I suppose. Not sure yet. Please vote as to what you plan on doing. Leave a message here as to why you feel this way if you must
I am making a new toon when GoD hits. If there isn't a new server when GoD hits than I'll make it on Chronos. If there is a new server than I will probably make the toon on the new server. It would be fun playing a new server and being a front runner, for at least a little while. And hopefully having low level PVP again. man i miss the days of pvp outside of gludio and stuff xD

Exactly xD It'll be one of those Nostalgia things. sure the game will be differnt. But I'm sure if you start the server off on the right note it'll a bunch of fun times. xD
Honestly I'm kinda down for whatever. Being on the new server would be kind of nice because it puts everyone on equal footing until people start getting full drops. Staying on Chronos gives that advantage of already going into an established economy. Rollin with Rolex1 either way it goes.

Only Problem is Zoc you go from 1-40 on the first day. So noone will be stuck in cruma long. I like that they revamped it and turned it into a up to date hunting ground. I imaging there will be 7x players 3-5 days in.

Yah but you won't have to worry about a clan of s85 R85 fully elemented peoples defending a castle that you'd like to have. For a while atleast, it will be a bit more equal footing than if you tried to join the scene of Chronos. Having said that, it's gonna be HORRIBLE trying to get the mats and stuff to make Moirai or vesper or what have you xD The fist set of dwarves in the server are going to make a killing.
try to prove that private server pvp > retail
Private server pvp vs Retail pvp is the same pvp. It all comes down to knowing how your class is designed to be played against other classes and how to effectively use that class to ensure the outcome of your group's victory. I've seen amazing organization on both private servers and retail servers.

how it can be compared, when skill working mechanics and debuff land rates are only guesses and estimations?

On private servers where stats have been edited you have to adjust accordingly with the skills you have. It's still about knowing your class and how it's played against other classes on that server. The thing that most private server players will have to learn is that all classes are equally useful in pvp on retail and not just "buffbots". Granted a lot of people on retail do box their buffers but some people that play those buffers in pvp do make a difference.
