NC soft make us a favor

Hi l2 players .i think that 6000 population cap is too low.i believe that lineage 2 God should have more than 10000 population in 1 server

What? Are you asking for another server or saying that we don't need one?

Would this be possible from hardware point of view?

servers have been capped to 6000 since prelude and no it won't change

I think 6000 cap is quite enough As much as i do enjoy a bit of pvp for leveling spots, i would rather not have to pvp for an hour to get 5 minutes of leveling lol.

on L2.ru (Innova Servers) with GoD update 3000~4000 players make change the server to "HEAVY" Status. And Innova will open the "Erica" the 14th server, to accommodate populations accordingly...

Some of the new (new to NCWest L2) come up with some crazy stupid ideas.

well once upon a time there was (and still exists) an private server with gracia final official platform files from innova. i do not mention names but everyone who haves knowledge outside lineage2.com (and even inside, if there was a discussion about leaked files) should know that server (x15). it had ~11k online.
however, massive lag... :) soulshot delay killed nearly everyone, npcserver crashed few times per day, etc etc. there was no spot where you can find free monster.
6k online players is more than enough to provide good-quality gameplay. problem is that we need few new servers (not 1 and not 2) to enjoy stable gameplay.

also.
there is a russian l2j (java-based emulator) lineage2 server with ~6k online + 1k traders (h5 chronicle,not fully implented but almost) :) u mad ncsoft?

yep, as said by chinook, there was a priv server that held nearly 11k ppl.
but with l2 going f2p, it probably isn't be possible anymore. :P
