Forgive if im wrong but i think that ncsoft dont want Eu players on their servers and their actions prove that, All servers hosted in States and new server Have Us time...

As stated before:
Innova obtained the rights for Lineage 2 in Europe.
Naia server (NCWest) remained in EU times, just different location because they are not allowed anymore to host it in the EU.
Also, the new server is because most new players appearently go for Innova. The new server is in US time because its a US server for people from the US. Chronos appearently was running full. So they added a new US server. When Naia runs full, likely a new EU server will appear..

naia and the Innova servers will be there for eu players who want to siege etc. with eu times, and nc cant just open eu servers after outsourcing/selling the rights for eu servers to Innova and i find that understandable.

will be hosted by innova, the guys who brought the russian official version, which was the first official and legal f2p lineage 2.

No one is stopping tou from playing on NAIA or Cronos even on a fresh new server SHilen when it opens tomorrow.
About Innova being Russian and not EU, their NEW SERVER will be EU, not just Russian. However, expect a lot of Russians as a side-effect. Anyone who's played private servers could probably safely say they're tired of reading Russian by now, so me personally will be staying the hell away from it.
If you want a true EU experience, yes you'll need to wait for Innova to open a new server. They have plans to do this already, even a website. I made a topic about Battleping on that site before I found out about Shilen

For impatient EU players, just play on Shilen. Use Battleping. You'll be fine. Unless it's the siege times and the like that you're so concerned with, in which case nevermind. You're boned.
Its just to bad that there is no info about the date when the EU server will be open with innova...
The only things i was able to read on innova forum (besides of the really bad performance or cannot connect to site) is that they will have mostly first a beta test (not sure if this is a just a rumour) and the eu servers will be coming early december.
how is server time related to server location? what if there are 5k US players and game is enjoying for them only during EU times?
Actualy,many usa-brazil players that were playing in our servers,were playing during our euro times,because of job-school hours,so yes its up to a person's life schedule to determine which server suits him rather than which country he's playing from.

I can't understand the issues about playing on Naia. Is it the high-level-toons? The competition? Oh dear, you'll have much more competition on a fresh server for xp spots.
And besides, in a 6 months timeframe you'll be at the starting point.

We have a EU-timezone server (Naia) and players from around the world are able to log in to our servers. For years, European players have played on servers located in the USA. This shows that it is not guaranteed that players will experience lag if playing from across an ocean. Ultimately your connection depends on your location and your internet service provide, things which we cannot control. But it is clear that is possible to connect to servers in the USA with no problems. As such, no players are being discouraged from playing on NCsoft West servers.
