Upon launching Lineage II: Goddess of Destruction a short while ago, thousands of players have rush to log in. In the excitement, the login servers began to experiencing difficulty managing all the login requests. The same login servers apply to the forums, so players may experience difficulty logging in there as well. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and we assure you that we are hard at work on fixing the issue. The game servers are all up and have players on them, and users that were already logged into the forums are still able to post. We will update this announcement as we make progress towards fixing the issue. We greatly appreciate your patience while we manage the problem.
i dont know if its my launcher thats bugged,or i have a virus,but after the game finished updating,i tried logging in,and it just stayed in the connecting part.. after that nothing happens no matter how long i wait..
the major problem is that after i exit,i cant use my internet unless i restart my computer... :confused:
i even unplugged,i changed from wifi mode to ethernet cable mode and still,no internet unless i restarted my computer...
anyone else having this problem or just my horrible luck?
Sounds like you guys got a much larger response than you anticipated, and DoS'd yourselves with eager players. Well, as problems hi this isn't a bad one! Might need to get another server proposed and, at worst, a queu system in place :D

I'm not so sure about more new servers. The initial rush is always the worst as lots of people will be trying to get on, many who likely won't be coming back after the next month or so. Just adding new servers because there's a lot of people initially can mean after a few months the game is left with multiple low population servers.
Since everyone is starting in the same place it's going to seem higher than you'd see in most MMOs as most seperate players into different areas and/or instances so you only see a small fraction of everyone that's on.
NCSoft likely has the experience in deciding if more servers are needed or not, so if there's enough people expected to keep multiple servers healthy we probably will get more, if not then we won't.
How come I am struck at login screen after I type in my username and password? Is the server up? I have been trying to log on for last 1-2 hrs still getting stuck at connecting to server. I was playing 2 days ago on Chornos and now I cannot log in after GOD patch?
while you're stuck on the currently logging in part,check out to see if u have internet.. usually once you get stuck there,your internet also freezes then you have to restart your comp just to get internet again.. i dont know how to get around this nonsense...:mad:
5 hours after, i loged in to get lvl 2 and go back to sleep... Server went down, cannot handle it, neither do I. :mad: I'll have Beta in EU... thank god!! Bad Start, so after this it can´t get worst? or can it?? hope not.

This is kinda funny ... actually right now its still only around 10k players on the 3 Servers. And NC cant even handle such a small increase of numbers playing on NC Servers.
i have anough space in HDD and i get error like not enought space ! and the game reinstal every time i start launcher - the new one ofc (why not check, like the old launcher, what have and what don't have :( ). the "play" doesn't get active not even after the 3rd time reinstaling the game !
Because you have to chose more than one time the instalation folder, and the second time it is masked by a "costumize" button !!!

Your bandwidth on the servers suck go peer to peer connection with the servers either that get a better host because with your current host its not supporting alot of fan base and you can also take care of these noobs sitting around saying level me up plz players constantly tell them get the quests etc yet they don't reply well now all these accounts can be banned now bc no reply therefore = account is not being used by a player therefore all these level me up gm accounts are bots and fake.

sace can i ask a question.is there any possibility to change timezones (from na timezones to europe timezones)because shilen hosts many ppl from eu(the most i can say)and i sieges its too difficult for some europian ppl to login.so if you cant change at least organize the sieges in timezones that all ppl can login :)

to answer u, Shilen is an NA server, there are EU server that all those players u are talking about can go there, otherwise any hour u log, the server is full, i dont think that ppl is bothering about to change the timezone, they already did wath u are asking for, creating EU servers, and NA servers.
@Distrust Yes true, there si EU server Naia BUT ITS FULL! How the hell can we enter if its full? Do you think it can handle 5k more players? You cant even login if the cap is reached, its absurd talking about another 5k+ players on Naia when it already has 5k. Think before POSTING!

Same,after paying 7 years to play a game now I cant play because it is free.Make the auction house free so ppl wont put their box shops on maybe that will give us some space.Or whatever just fix this this is getting annoying
Im really impressed in how badly players are beeing treated by NCsoft.
Now we are forced to join 1 server and fight our way up to higher levels with 50 others on the same quest.
All because the rest of the servers are filled with people sitting down and beeing afk. Especially in some towns so we can hardly move in them.

i dont know why everyone is complaining so much about the personal shops, id rather swim through giran looking through the shops for what i need than post it on or buy it from the AH and its incredibly overpriced everything. at least with the shops you dont have to Hope someone will purchase your auction before someone undercuts you causing a massive waste of time and money for you.
The ammount of servers is like this due to the ammount of subs pre f2p and estimated player increase from the f2p release, im sure this is well beyond their numbers.

Auction house is good if you cant be online all night with a shop but,
Auction House costs $$ & no guarantee of a sale so its just $$ wasted.
Private Stores are free & are still needed since you can't sell a
package sale "like a full armor set" for one price with the auction house.
I hope you can fix it as soon as possible because so far the fact of wanting to log in only means wait several minutes until any ****** disconnects from game and let you play..

On a weapon worth 200kk I ll have to pay several kk (20 perhaps) of money which is lost if it doesnt sell. If you make an action house like that, well then u asking for it to fail.
Now the most amazing thing was to wait in a queue like in the supermarket to do the newbie quest. How ******ed is that? Then I wait my turn for some guy to pk the whole queue, of course. Take one perma red char level 50 just for this quest and do the quest fast with your new char. Couldn't you make an instance? Could you predict this with your 7 years+ experience with this game?
