What will happen to the common items? The patch notes said clearly those would be converted to unidentified.
Now one of my clanmates logs in an still has all his common items on various characters in various grades. What's that about? Was this forgotten, or changed at the last minute?
I ask the same since i still have all common :S
and another question: those quests that should be deleted still show up at map info and adventure guildsmen.... and cant see some of the new ones Oo
the ADDITION of unidentified items, not the CONVERSION of items to unidentified...
dont know how it was missed. anyway tulp, only R grade can become Blessed, everything else becomes bound.
The conversion of common items (even the ones already owned by players) to unidentified is what happened in Korea at Goddess of Destruction launch, but it seems they decided to do differently here :(
Also, S items and below can turn either bound or normal, but chance to get a bound item is very high... over 90%? If i dont recall wrong someone said 98% or so...
Also, crystals price at NPC has been lowered but wasn't it supposed to happen in one of next patches? There's nothing in patch notes about it...
Also twilight stuff at territory manager is listed as R grade, shouldn't it be R90?
The problem is that the version of the patch notes is not the same as the version of the game. I had specifically asked GM Sparse about the patch of September 7 and those Crystal prices. Based on his patch notes he answered that this patch would not be included in the GoD version we got last week: http://boards.lineage2.com/showpost.php?p=3099966&postcount=73
Now, as Alfried Krupp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfried_Krupp_von_Bohlen_und_Halbach) used to say, who works makes mistakes, who works a lot makes a lot of mistakes. There is nothing wrong with Sparse giving an incorrect answer. Things like that can happen. But if we had a Public Test Server, people would have noticed before GoD went live that Sparse's answer was incorrect and could have sold their Crystals to an NPC shop in time before the update.
I really hope NCsoft gets the message and never ever publishes an update without previous PTS again. For GoD it's to late, but what they could do is remove the faulty Library on the website and replace it with a link to the Korean Powerbook Wikipedia (http://power.plaync.co.kr/lineage2/). NCWest obviously does not have the personnel to create and maintain an up-to-date English database. So instead of causing unhappiness by spreading false information, they should simply admit defeat, give up on the project of an English Library and concentrate on exterminating real money traders and 3rd party software users. The Korean language would also work as a deterrent for the Nov 2011 crowd. As soon as those kids find out that the adena drops in these hunting grounds (http://lineage2.plaync.co.kr/board/update/view?articleId=459387) have been halved, they will quickly be back at their private servers anyway :p

The patch notes (http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/patch-notes/goddess-of-destruction/new-items/new-item-system.php) say "A Common item will become an Unidentified item in Goddess of Destruction." Before, this was "All Common item will become an Unidentified item in Goddess of Destruction."
It's still confusing, we read the announcement page, the Korea patch notes and the live patch notes several times, but between these three sources, it was quite clear that all d-s grade common items would be changed to unidentified items, which is easily read to include existing items as well.
However, with the state of the game now and the changed patch notes it seems to be clear that this was not intended, so existing common items will stay common but there will be no new common items.
An official statement would be nice, though.
