Did any of u was there when Aion launch end of September 2009? I was one of the first I log because I was one of the 500.000 that pre-order the game and we start 4 days earlier than every1 else, well it was a mess people stuck at log in screens for days and couldn't log terrible experience well what happening now remind me the good old NC, but that's what happen when u see 35.000 on line users on forum and prepare 1 server for all of them, what else to say?

GZ NC u did it again!
ofc. l2 is the most well-known game in the whole world.
especially now, f2p ;)

everyone was waiting for this.
Yeah this is beyond frustrating... they needed two new servers at the very least. I was looking forward to this for soooooo long :(
Well, honestly, this happened with Aion, WOW, WAR, etc. I'll be money it'll happen to TOR, too. I don't envy NCSoft - while too few servers has the problems we're seeing now, there've been a multitude of games that, a month or three after launch, settled on their populations and then had too many servers for the economy and PVP to work right so they had to consolidate/merge servers; a process that generally nobody likes (even if the end result is for the best) due to name collisions for characters, guilds, loss of server personality, etc.

I'll be honest - I wasn't expecting this many people to try it out. Well known or not, it is an older title! @_@
I had no problem logging on to be honest and the servers were up two hours earlier too.
GoD launch is Aion launch all over again..

Or... the Lineage II launch in April of 2004.
