How come as a lvl 75 sws i get 40k exp in SV now, 18k in pavel ruins . I thought actually was easier to level in GoD, than in H5 . I guess I was mistaken.
Yes in a party of two in DV it was like 3mill exp and now its 290k? Thats not cuz of double exp gone. In a party of 5 in GC we where getting 200k that is also not because of double exp gone. I kept hearing dont sweat not being 85 when god gets here they make 1-85 super easy blah blah blah. I see thats BS I suspect they nerfed the EXP so you have to buy the 50% thing from thier store to even get close to the old Exp.

I am 82 and in two hours last night with Vit i got 3% before the update with no vit it would have been closer to 10%. I have noticed on Dino island solo I still get 87k a dino in nest. So maybe they just screwed up the EXP in some places or in a party? I am not sure BUT I do know DV and GC ain't right.
I tried to find the quest chains for my level and could not. I hate questing and that is why I am not playing WOW or AION but if it is the quickest way to 85 I will do it. A list of the quests by location and ordered with rewards would be very nice so that I can do them...............
its daily quests from npc beside newbie buffer, and its just a normal l2 quest kill 5 million mobs for money and xp. so you still grind but quest makes up for the grinding so u end up getting around the same. but more money.

That link has quests up to 75 and then they pick up at 85. WTF how about 76-85................... That link just ****** me off more. The stupid book for my level gave leveling areas and no quests. So I geuss from 80-85 they expect you to grind the old fashion way with lowered exp or buy thier bull**** exp rune.
Ugh, goto the main lineage2 website, click on game, patch notes, goddess of destruction, quests, new quests, look for the repeatable ones, and do them.
Most of the quests are dailies, you may not like questing but heres the catch, you start the daily, you goto an area you were going to level in anyway, you kill mobs there. After grinding for a bit (cuz you love to grind so much thats why we all play L2) you hear a chime. Oh look, I was grinding, quest complete, I need soulshots, back to town, hand quest in, holy ****, I just earned 25% in less then 2 hours at 80+. WAOW!
Well now that I did my daily what's next. Oh yea theres more dailies.
My point is, you get more exp you just don't realize it. I did a daily (and I'll never do this one again) in Hot Springs on my 74 SWS that was 93%. While I was there I had to collect 40 items. I killed maybe 70 mobs, got another 3% while i was there, and turned the quest in for 9mill exp. That got me to 75 and 5%.
The next daily I started has me going to that area near the Wall of Argros or whatever it's called. Collect 77 items from the mobs in the area. Knights, guards, and both types of beetles. That quest is worth 22 mill exp. Since its only about 20 mill more exp to level from 75 to 76 then it was to go from 74 to 75. I got about with all the mob kills about 12% exp from 9 mill quest. So we're lookin at close to 30% at level 75 for maybe an hour or 2 of farming. Note also, I'm on a SWS, I don't do good dmg, and I have 1 semi-decent over hit attack skill.
::EDIT:: The reason they have more then one daily is because they want you to explore the content not just chill in one area for days and days and never see the other high level areas because the one you're in gives you more exp then another area of the same level. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Yeah and its a ****, if they lower the xp u need to raise ur lvl from 80-85 and lower the xp u can get from mobs.... Then they should add some quest like lower levels to keep that fast lvling they said, if not i want the old grind xp back :):)

think of it like an opportunity to gather more stones, crystals and unidentified gear.
honestly if people had bothered to read patch notes, this was all written down. but here i am talking to a wall.
Dont missunderstand me, i like the old xp sistem but i understand those new players who came thinking about a fast xp sistem from 20 to 85 and then they find this...
i'm sure theyll figure out how to go do party dungeons with 7 people for fastest exp ever. i mean its really not hard to do. solo, people might get some small amount but with 6 more it will be double, then in party zones you can get free **** just for playing so it wont be an issue.

Well I haven't seen any numbers posted for raid bosses so I don't know what kind of Xp they give. Might be worth looking into.

Based on how much Xp you get per kill to how much Xp you need to level, you should still be leveling at about the same pace. If not welcome to the C2 70-75 grind :)
Just stop. They removed our daily nevit bonus of 50% and they deleted our hourglasses which gave the same bonus. This is not debatable. It's not a conspiracy, it's in plain sight. Coincidentally they added a 50% exp item in the cash shop. Not 100% or 200% like we all expected, but the flat rate of 50%.
There's no conspiracy, its an open and shut case. They took away something from us that we got for free and now they are selling it back to us in a rather unfriendly form. 5 and 10 hour runes continue to lose time even when logged off, who the heck wants to grind that much? You are pressured into it other wise you waste the rune. It would be fine if they sold us an exp boost, but all they are selling us is what we once had. Ncsoft dropped the ball once again.
you cant do those quests at 82. max for the daily quests is 79. after that the only quest left to do is the epic quest, but that will leave you at 82ish if you dont die like a noob.
i would far rather grind those last few levels out, for the simple reason that those areas give element stones and crystals, with which one might use on his new R gear.
I have a few friends in this situation and I feel the hardship they are in and I will help them level as best I can. Bottom line is this is no surprise and NCSoft had something like 7 events to boost everyone to 85 before GoD released… they even as much told us we would be better off if everyone was 85 at the time of launch. Furthermore, they told us the party bonus and XP would be revamped. All in all this was not a Black ops done to us by NCSoft, they were very much in the open and tried to help everyone get to 85.
We have to take responsibility for our own actions (or lack thereof) and accept the truth... our dedication to getting to 85 was not adequate and now it will be harder to do so.
They also said we would have a full month of PTS and that turned out to be a total lie. So lets not make it like NCSOFT is all innocent and open and up front. They did give alot of events to help people level but they did not give anyone a PTS to see what the changes would entale.

All I saw was they said they will be having PTS......then some post later said sorry to inform everyone but GoD will not have a PTS and will go straight to live. So where this promise and they still didnt lie since we knew for almost a month there wouldnt be a PTS

lol was not complaining, I like the grind & dont really care if I lvl slow or not.
I Just didnt see where any new daily 80-84 quests were.
Shoot, I have been on the slow grind for 7 years....not on the same toon....the grind is normal to me now. lol

If you are above level 40, or when you reach level 40 and change into second profession you get a book that you double click and it tells you where to go.
I did my daily last night, and I got half a level from 59 to 60 and half a million adena for 20-30 minutes of hunting; lower levels have more chainquests.
Anyone discovered anything yet on dailies 80-85 that give huge xp?
Ive been at work the last 13 hours now. I wouldn't be opposed to going back to 76+ dailies that give a chunk of xp.
Got to explore last night for an hour or so. The GC thing is true, a lot less xp at 83 .01% a mob which is 10k GC mobs tnl if i recall correctly with full vit. OMG that number is astounding if you really think about it at 8-10 mobs per minute X 2 hours a day. Haven't tried anywhere else.

exp def took a **** kicking. I am 79 so still low however I went from getting 230,000 per mob during x2 exp down to 38.000. I realize event is over but even with my poor math skills I can see that this does not add up.
Anyway does not matter really i'll hit 85 when I hit 85
Yea the xp at 86 was terribad, but tbh I was just trying out some different areas. I think I finished with 2% into 86 lol. I did pick up the xp/sp runes, just don't want to start popping them until I know best places to level.
all you sub 85ers...Get a clannie that is 85+ to mentor you (auto 200% exp for you and 10% extra for the mentor + iss enchater buffs) then do the rune thing and you will be back lvling at the past events rate (~2.5x exp with nevit) WITH a lower exp goal. right?

before god:
mob was green
exp x2, vita 4, nevit 50% = 500k per mob = 0.02% up on my exp bar
now:
mob is light blue
exp x1, vita, 200% from mentor = 280k per mob = 0.03% up on my exp bar
i'm killing the same mobs i was killing before GoD, so there is no difference there... and killing speed is about the same, considering before i had vesper event stuff and now i got enchanter buffs from the mentoring system
so i really dont understand why so much fuzz about getting less exp, when (at least for me), even when the exp amount is less, the actual leving up is faster
The mobs I was killing, with 4 bars of Vitality and the Nevrit System in place, used to give me about 0.02 to 0.03% of my XP bar.
Post GoD:
The same mobs, with full Vitality, are giving me consistently 0.03% of my XP bar.
It does look like that, while the XP number received from mobs is lower, the amount of XP required to level has also dropped down proportionally to be about the same, or even, slightly more favorable than it was before.
