Awakened Sigil Knight

General Discussion Started Last reply 3 posts
Just have a few hours on my newly awakened Sigil Knight and I"m trying to figure out which skills to use and how to setup hotbars. Hoping to get some feedback from more experienced tankers out there.

Buffs:
- Sigel Force (party member patk/melee only)
- Aura's: Rage(dmg), Challenge(trouble keeping aggr), Iron(pdef/Shield), Recovery(+heals), Spirit(mp boosts), Resist (mdef& +resists)
- Cubic (removes debuffs)

PVE:
- Initially
Pull target with Chain Strike
Hate
Shield Charge - reduces pdef
(where's my overpowered multi-second shield stun?)

- Then Hit

When cooldowns are up:
- Night Frenzy
- Spike Shield

Situational:
- AOE: Superior Hate Aura / Gust Blade / Shield Impact
- Final UD & Protection of Faith (Party UD)
- Focus Shield toggle: when you need extra defense and have extra MP
(Can you keep this toggled with spirit aura up and not lose MP?)

PVP:
- hate and hate aura to target lock
- Shield Charge (reduce pdef)
- Last Judgement (reduces speed)
- Justice Punishment (reduces patk/matk)
- Chain Galaxy (reduces target heals)

Lion: When to use? Once summoned it reduces your pdef?

Thanks
You should use your force skills always no matter what.
Challenge aura when partying as well. It gives p atk/atk speed and -20% MP consumption for your party members. As well as increases your hate effectiveness.
Focus shield - always
Cubic - always

For AOE: gust blade and chain galaxy with both hate auras
For single target like bosses: shield charge, justice punishment and you can use last judment because you do way more dmg using skills than auto attacks.

Lion is PvP thingie and Solo pve. For PvP it's great because of extra stun and melee silence(which lands A LOT) and for solo PVE. It takes a big chunk of your p def which makes tanking in places like Teredor impossible.
Thanks,

In case anyone is wondering:

Unless you are sitting down, the answer to the above question is "no".

Use focus shield only when you need that extra defensive oooomph.
